The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vo tries to clinch there but Guccione circles away.
Vo misses with a takedown attempt - Guccione sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Vo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Guccione! Vo goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Guccione turns into him and now he's in Vo's guard.
Vo has his foot on Guccione's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Guccione works his way back into a safe position though. Vo looking for a guillotine here but Guccione defends easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Guccione decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Vo throws a series of punches but Guccione moves out of range. Guccione changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Vo is looking for a sweep. Guccione wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vo keeps working. Guccione misses with the ground and pound.

Vo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Guccione pulls his head out easily. Vo looks gassed! Guccione lands with a punch from half guard. Vo is refusing to be controlled, as Guccione sits in half guard. Vo looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Guccione lands with a punch from half guard. Vo is staying active underneath Guccione, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Guccione is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Vo sees it coming and defends easily. Vo wants to improve his position but Guccione is controlling well.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Guccione rushes Vo and presses him up against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nadu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Harrison's waist but Harrison gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nadu off to one side. Harrison tries to clinch up but Nadu circles away and keeps his distance. Nadu tries to keep at a distance but Harrison has taken the fight into the clinch. Harrison breaks the clinch.
A combination from Harrison does no damage. Nadu looks for a takedown but Harrison sprawls well. Nadu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Harrison sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nadu somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Assam Nadu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice sprawl there from Harrison as Nadu shoots in. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nadu dodges the punch combination from Harrison.
Harrison stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harrison wants it to stay on the feet. Nadu takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Harrison throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harrison displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nadu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrison goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Assam Nadu has been cut. Mike Harrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harrison lands a jab-cross combination. Nadu is breathing heavily. The crowd cheers as Harrison lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nadu doesn't seem phased though. Harrison looks to land a combination but Nadu avoids it well. Harrison drops Nadu with a beautiful combination! Nadu stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Harrison is looking for the KO!
Nadu is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Harrison closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Nadu out cold! Nadu corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Horrible takedown by Williams or perhaps it was just good defense by Sessions which made him look bad. Sessions swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Sessions listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Sessions takes a swing at Williams's ribcage but misses. Sessions connects with a solid leg kick. Manny Sessions is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sessions closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Sessions with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Williams's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sessions doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.

Manny Sessions showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Williams tries to keep at a distance but Sessions has taken the fight into the clinch. Sessions lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Williams or not. Williams's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Sessions works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Williams is looking to break free of the clinch but Sessions has double underhooks. Sessions lands an uppercut. Sessions keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Williams's efforts to push away. Sessions putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Williams in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Williams wants to get back to striking at distance but Sessions won't allow it.

Sessions manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

The crowd are getting on Sessions's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Williams jumps guard but Sessions stands there with Williams around his waist. Williams gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Williams jumps guard but Sessions stands there with Williams around his waist. Williams gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Williams has Sessions pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sessions manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Dan Williams has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. Williams is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Williams is trying to break free. Williams misses with a knee strike.
And that's the end of the fight! Manny Sessions comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sessions has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Houser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and General Zod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Houser might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hackensaw Boys-Keep it simple. Zod has chosen Kneel Before Zod as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Houser walks into a straight right hand from Zod. Houser tried to score with a low kick but Zod checks it. Houser shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Zod as he jumps to the side. Houser throws a head kick that misses. Houser connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Houser throws a leg kick but Zod sees it coming and moves out of range. Houser tries to score with a low kick but Zod moves his leg out of the way. Zod gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Houser counters with a stiff right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Houser throws a low kick, looking for Zod's leg but Zod calmly moves out of range. Houser getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Zod misses with a takedown and Houser counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Zod's guard now. Zod keeping full guard, as Houser tries to pass. Houser postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Houser trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Houser with a flurry of punches that miss. Zod has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Houser drops back looking for a leg! Zod is in trouble here! That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Zod checks the leg kick nicely there.

Zod lands a nice hook to Houser's body. Houser takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Houser throws a jab when Zod was well out of range. Zod shoots in looking for a takedown. Houser tries to sprawl out of it but Zod keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Houser manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tyler Houser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of General Zod. Zod rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Houser moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Houser fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Houser misses the body punch and Zod counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Houser is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zod clinches but Houser breaks the clinch and Houser counters with a nice uppercut. Tyler Houser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zod lands a with a good body shot. Houser gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Zod is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Zod stands and throws Houser's legs to the side, diving into side control. Zod is trying to get an arm triangle but Houser is defending well. Zod decides to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zod gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Zod tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Houser lands a nice uppercut. Houser tries a body shot but Zod blocks it.
Houser lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Zod is working for takedown but Houser is calmly controlling the position for now. Houser tries to work over Zod's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A right handed body shot lands from Houser.

Zod blocks a body shot from Houser. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Houser wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Zod has him pressed against the cage. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Houser tries a body shot but Zod blocks it.
Houser is looking to break free of the clinch but Zod has double underhooks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but General Zod will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Houser throws a body punch but Zod moves out of range. Houser avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Houser wants to slow Zod down by chopping away at his legs. Zod thows a body shot but no joy. Houser works over Zod's head and body with a nice combination. Zod with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Houser to score with a decent uppercut. Houser swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Houser takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Houser swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zod tries to clinch up but Houser circles away and keeps his distance. Zod clinches up against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zod jumps guard and drags Houser to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Zod is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Zod trying to control the position.

Houser connects with a couple of short punches. Houser sitting in guard, not really doing much. Houser throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Houser trying to control but Zod is working from the bottom. Houser throws and elbow that misses. Zod uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Houser's guard. Nice move by Zod! That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Zod wants to pass the guard but Houser is keeping the position. Houser preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Zod content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Houser has locked up a guillotine! Houser's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Zod is holding on here and Houser must be using up a lot of energy. Zod has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Houser gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
