I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Anderson Silva was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Jackson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Silva shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Jackson catches Silva napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Silva to the canvas!

It looks like Anderson Silva has been cut.
Jackson gets to his feet and stands over Silva, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Silva felt that one! Jackson unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Silva from any more punishment!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Myres's waist but Myres gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ray off to one side.

Ray closes the distance and clinches.

Myres's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Myres shoots in for a takedown but Ray shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lecter hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Blackfoot cracks Emperor with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Blackfoot has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Emperor to stand back up!

Blackfoot is looking to clinch but Emperor is avoiding it.
Blackfoot throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Emperor walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Blackfoot drops Emperor with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Emperor looks back up at him and smiles so Blackfoot waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Emperor is rocked!
Blackfoot fakes the body blow, causing Emperor to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Emperor goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
