Slater has chosen Terminator Theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Slater! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slater fails with a takedown attempt from distance. No luck with that takedown attempt from Slater. Slater shoots in but Williams avoids the takedown attempt easily. John Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Slater. Slater shoots in but no luck this time. Williams gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Slater has gone for a leg lock! Williams slips out almost immediately though and dives into Slater's guard. Slater looks gassed! Williams works a leg free and moves into half guard. Williams works his foot free and advances to mount. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Williams is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Slater is surviving well by controlling Williams's body position as best he can. Slater is working to get back to half guard.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Rocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Rawlings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rocha might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Refuse/Resist by Sepultura. Rawlings has chosen Hells Bells as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jack Rawlings struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Antonio Rocha could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jack Rawlings's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rawlings shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rocha but Rocha pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rocha clinches up with Rawlings and pushes him back against the cage. Rocha escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rocha tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A big left from Rawlings misses. Rawlings throws a shot from downtown. Rocha moves away and avoids it. Rocha chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Rocha slips a straight right by Rawlings. Rocha throws a right hand that Rawlings ducks under and follows up with a left that Rawlings also avoids with ease. Rocha keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rawlings. Rawlings looks gassed! Rawlings avoids the head kick by Rocha.
Rocha throws a series of punches but Rawlings avoids them all with ease. Rocha throws a right and a left that Rawlings avoids nicely. Rawlings looks to throw the jab but Rocha is out of range. Rocha tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rawlings misses with a straight right. Rawlings fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Rocha tries a head kick but it misses.
Rocha drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rocha creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Rocha lands some shots froms side control.

He's managed it. Nice work. Rawlings avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rocha. Rocha sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rawlings defending well though. Rawlings tries to get to full guard but Rocha has control of the leg. Nice strikes from Rocha there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rawlings blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rocha. Rawlings is looking to improve his position.

And that's the end of the fight! David North comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well North has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Valendretti shoots for a takedown but Dent saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Valendretti shoots for a double leg takedown but Dent sprawls well. He's pushed Valendretti's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dent scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Valendretti looks gassed! Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Dent throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Valendretti is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
