Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gegard Mousa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dustin Jordan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gegard Mousa! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan tries to clinch but Mousa is having none of it. Jordan dives in and grabs Mousa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mousa pushes down on Jordan's head and hops out. Mousa moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Mousa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jordan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Jordan pushes Mousa away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mousa gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Jordan gets back to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Jordan manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jordan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mousa is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jordan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mousa's back instead. Will Jordan go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Mousa turns into Jordan and is now in his guard.
Mousa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mousa stands and steps away. Jordan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mousa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Mousa landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Jordan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Mousa off and has taken his back! Jordan doesn't have the hooks in and Mousa manages to turn into his guard.
Mousa stands up from guard. Let's bang! Jordan is breathing heavily. Jordan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Mousa counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Mousa's corner is telling him to maintain position. Let's hope that Mousa has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mousa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jordan is working an open guard so Mousa takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Mousa closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mousa lands in his opponent's guard. Mousa landing with the ground and pound. Jordan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mousa is aware though and is defending well. Mousa not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Mousa advances position into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mousa controlling from side mount. Mousa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jordan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mousa has knee on belly and moves into mount. Jordan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Mousa working for a submission but Jordan is keeping him at bay. Mousa controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mousa lands a big elbow. Mousa controlling from mount. Mousa breaks from Jordan's wrist control and lands an elbow. Mousa has control of Jordan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jordan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mousa with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Jordan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jordan avoids the body shot from Mousa.
Mousa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Mousa is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jordan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mousa defends well. Mousa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mousa passes Jordan's left leg - he's now in half guard. Mousa lands strikes from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mousa perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Mousa takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Jordan is looking to improve his position.
Mousa slows the pace down in half guard. Mousa stands up from half guard. Mousa shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jordan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Mousa tries to free his leg and advance position but Jordan is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jordan is trying to control the position but Mousa postures up. Mousa looking to pass the guard. Mousa lands a couple of elbows. Jordan looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mousa showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Gegard Mousa has got the better of the ground game so far.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mousa throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mousa works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Jordan tries to keep at a distance but Mousa has taken the fight into the clinch. Mousa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mousa shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Mousa is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mousa stands up out of the half guard. Mousa lands with a kick to the temple. Jordan shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Mousa scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mousa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Mousa has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jordan tries to kick Mousa off but Mousa keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Jordan tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mousa controlling the action here. Jordan throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gegard Mousa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mousa passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jordan!

Mousa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Jordan swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Mousa manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jordan to take his back! Mousa scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Mousa really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Jordan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mousa is hanging on to Jordan's back as he tries to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jordan is trying to get back to his feet but Mousa has full control of the position and if anything, Jordan has just worked his way into a worse spot. Jordan is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Despite being in the dominant position, Gegard Mousa just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mousa moves into the clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mousa takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Mousa lands a takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jordan striking off his back but it's not causing Mousa any problems. Dustin Jordan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gegard Mousa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mousa sitting in guard here, content to control.
And that's the end of the fight! Gegard Mousa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mousa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! mint wants to clinch. Jurczyk scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. mint misses with a wild body shot. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jurczyk. Jurczyk shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts mint as he jumps to the side. mint leaves Jurczyk with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mariusz Jurczyk. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horrible takedown by Jurczyk or perhaps it was just good defense by mint which made him look bad. mint looks for the body kick but Jurczyk saw that one coming. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. mint looks to score with a jab to the body but Jurczyk is just out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - mint looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jurczyk shoots in but mint avoids the takedown attempt easily. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jurczyk throws a right hand that mint ducks under and follows up with a left that mint also avoids with ease. mint feints and then cracks Jurczyk's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jurczyk down. mint scores with a body shot.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jurczyk looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Jurczyk lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Jurczyk is trying to control the action in half guard but mint is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jurczyk prevents mint from standing back up.

Ruiz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hendricks's waist but Hendricks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ruiz off to one side. Ruiz is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kane thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Almeida Junior's head. Leando Almeida Junior is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Almeida Junior is looking for a sweep. Kane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Almeida Junior can do anything to dispel that myth. Kane is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Almeida Junior defends it well. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Stone trying to control the position from guard on top but Daniels is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Daniels looking for a sweep. Not yet Daniels, not yet. Daniels is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Stone avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Stone passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Stone passes to side control. Daniels on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Stone misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Stone wants to control for a moment but Daniels uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Stone kicks off Daniels and gets to his feet. Stone shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Daniels counters with a single leg into guard. Stone didn't expect that. Daniels tries to free his leg and advance position but Stone is retaining full guard. Daniels trying to control the position from guard on top but Stone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stone looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Daniels passes easily into side control. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Phil Stone. Well Stone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
