Owen Christy struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Christy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bartone's guard. Bartone looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bartone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Christy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bartone wants to sweep here but Christy controlling him for the moment. Christy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bartone had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Christy is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bartone Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Christy's back instead. Christy wants to get back to his feet. Bartone is cranking Christy's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Christy! He's tightened the choke and Christy is tapping out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Comun clinches up against the cage. Lavey has had enough of the clinch but Comun keeps him there for the moment. Comun effectively controlling the action here. Comun looking for a takedown. Lavey wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Comun has him pressed against the cage. Lavey jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Comun walks away with a smile on his face. Lavey gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lavey tried to score with a low kick but Comun checks it. Lavey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Comun circles away quickly and effectively. Comun throws a sloppy head kick and Lavey moves out of range easily. Lavey dives in and grabs Comun's left leg, looking for a takedown. Comun pushes down on Lavey's head and hops out. Lavey with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lavey lands with a hook. Comun tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Lavey looks for the body kick but Comun saw that one coming. Comun lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lavey closes the distance but Comun moves to the side and Comun counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lavey won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Comun trying to control the action but Lavey is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lavey seems a little lost for a moment, as Comun dominates the positioning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Comun grinds an elbow into Lavey's temple. The strikes coming from Comun are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Comun taking a breather here. Comun trying to control the position but Lavey is working away. Comun controlling the position. Lavey is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. An elbow from Comun crashes against the mat.
Lavey parries the strikes from Comun easily there. Comun is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lavey to escape.
Comun is looking to take a break and control but Lavey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Comun shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Comun was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Comun throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lavey wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Comun looking to control but Lavey is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Comun throwing strikes here but Lavey is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Comun lands a big shot there that rocks Lavey but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Comun has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Comun sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Lavey is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Lavey really wants to buck Comun off and get back to his feet. Comun looking to finish with strikes here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Comun looking to finish Lavey with some ground and pound. This is bad for Lavey! Poor strikes thrown by Comun there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Comun trying to control but Lavey is having none of it. Lavey is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tipo Comun dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lavey shoots in looking for a takedown. Comun tries to sprawl out of it but Lavey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Comun manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Comun shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Comun was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Comun throws some wild stikes that Lavey manages to avoid easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Comun throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Lavey gets back to half guard. Comun is figuring out what he wants to do next. Lavey keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Lavey avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Comun. Lavey is looking to escape. Comun is thwarting Lavey's attempts to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Comun seems to be looking for submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Comun throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Comun clinches. Comun crunches a lovely knee into Lavey's ribcage. Lavey working hard to break the clinch. Lavey can't break the clinch.
Lavey tries to throw a body punch but Comun avoids it by throwing Lavey back against the cage. Lavey tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Comun smiles and moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lavey lands with a shot to the body. Lavey looks to land a combination but Comun avoids it well. Comun throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Comun looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Comun is breathing heavily. Comun looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lavey is fending him off so far but Comun persists. Nope, Lavey circles away and we're back to standing. Comun drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Comun shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lavey as he jumps to the side. Anton Lavey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tipo Comun. Lavey scores with a leg kick.
Anton Lavey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Comun takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lavey throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Comun shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lavey as he jumps to the side. Lavey darts in trying to clinch and Comun counters with a nice double leg into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tipo Comun showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Lavey throws a sloppy head kick and Comun moves out of range easily. Comun throws a leg kick and Lavey counters with a straight right hand. Lavey finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lavey is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. A head kick misses from Comun. Lavey looks to land a combination. Comun sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Comun tries a low kick but Lavey avoids it. Lavey scores with a leg kick.
Comun swats away the attempt to clinch by Lavey. Comun misses with an uppercut. Nice sprawl there from Comun as Lavey shoots in. Lavey moves into the clinch. Lavey wants to get back to striking at distance but Comun won't allow it.
Lavey's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Comun closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Lavey pushes Comun off looking to stand but Comun dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lavey trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's one minute gone in the round. Comun is thwarting Lavey's attempts to control the position. Lavey wants to get back to full guard. Comun is figuring out what he wants to do next. Lavey is staying active underneath Comun, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Comun not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lavey is in trouble now - Comun has advanced to mount! Lavey wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Comun.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Comun landing strikes from the mount and Lavey is in trouble! Comun with a couple of short strikes. Lavey blocking the ground and pound. Comun tries to control but Lavey wriggling away. Comun landing shots from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Comun lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Lavey hang on? Lavey wants to hold on but Comun pushes him away. Comun lands a heavy elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Comun controlling the position easily from mount. Comun jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lavey manages to avoid the submission attempt. Comun sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Lavey is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Tipo Comun is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lavey is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Comun asserts his dominance and retains side control. Comun working the ground and pound but Lavey is defending the strikes. Anton Lavey has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Comun throwing strikes but Lavey manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Comun tries to buck Lavey off but Lavey is having none of it. Comun regains half guard. Comun is trying to stand.
And that's the end of the fight! Tipo Comun comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Comun winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. No luck for Santos with that takedown attempt. Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Santos. Johnson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Johnson leaves Santos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Santos moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Johnson looks gassed! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Santos sees it coming and avoids it easily. Johnson misses with the combination.

Santos is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Johnson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Santos in side control, working for a kimura. Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lim connects with a nice cross there... Richardson is looking wobbly and Lim recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Richardson to the canvas, out cold! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Avalon. Avalon obviously looking to wear him down.
Avalon tries to bum rush Lesnar with a series of wild strikes but Lesnar uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Avalon looks to land a right hand but Lesnar moved out of range. Avalon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Avalon as he avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Avalon feints and then cracks Lesnar's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lesnar down. Lesnar drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coen wants to clinch up but Castiglione keeps it at a distance. Coen takes one on the button. Coen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Castiglione rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Castiglione circles away from the clinch attempt.
