The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Phine closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Satriani is looking to improve his position.
Satriani is pressing down on Phine's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Venom is defended easily by Kotaro.
Nice sprawl there from Kotaro as Venom shoots in.

Venom drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Martz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kilo's guard.

Martz swats away the attempt to clinch by Kilo.

Kilo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kilo tries to close the distance and clinch but Martz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Martz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kilo tries to avoid it but Martz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kilo to the ground. Kilo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Martz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kilo tries to avoid it but Martz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kilo to the ground. Kilo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kilo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Good leg kick by Kilo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kilo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Johk Kilo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Kilo. No joy for Martz on that attempt.
Kilo closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Kilo scores with a three punch combo!

Martz is rocked!
Kilo is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Kilo feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Martz crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Hardy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tratatori has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hardy has managed to get both his arms back between Tratatori's legs - danger averted.
