Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Brentwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Nazare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Brentwood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesus Nazare! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nazare moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Brentwood tries to close the distance and clinch but Nazare swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nazare throws a nice outside leg kick. Brentwood shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Nazare is trying to defend but Brentwood finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Nazare slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Nazare bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brentwood's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nazare loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Brentwood looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Nazare puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Nazare tries to stand and escape but Brentwood is controlling the position. Brentwood on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brentwood tries to get out of the position. Brentwood tries to roll over but Nazare keeps him under control. Brentwood is staying active underneath Nazare, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nazare looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Brentwood tries to roll over but Nazare keeps him under control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Brentwood is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nazare's half guard. Nazare wants to improve his position but Brentwood is controlling well.

Nazare throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Brentwood tries to clinch there but Nazare circles away.
Nazare tries for a takedown but Brentwood circles away easily and Brentwood counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nazare's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brentwood is in close to Nazare's body, working some short punches and elbows. Brentwood wants to stand but Nazare is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Nazare keeping moving, preventing Brentwood from controlling successfully. Nazare is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Brentwood missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Brentwood trying to control but Nazare is working from the bottom. Nazare keeping full guard, as Brentwood tries to pass. Brentwood has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Brentwood not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Brentwood stands up over Nazare, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Nazare doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Nazare is controlling Brentwood's posture. Brentwood might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Nazare working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brentwood doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brentwood manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Nazare keeping full guard, as Brentwood tries to pass. Nazare is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brentwood knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nazare on the ground. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Left hook, right uppercut from Silverkush. Yuz throws a combination that misses and Silverkush counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Silverkush takes the fight into the clinch. Yuz has had enough of the clinch but Silverkush keeps him there for the moment. Silverkush lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Yuz or not. Yuz is trying to force a seperation but Silverkush has the dominant position. Silverkush pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Yuz scores with a one two! Silverkush had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Genesuis Silverkush has been cut. Genesuis Silverkush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silverkush throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richards defending well as Justine loads up on a big left hand. Justine throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Justine missing with a left hand there. Richards was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Richards blocks a head kick by Justine.
Justine throws a sloppy head kick and Richards moves out of range easily. Richards looks to land a left hand but Justine moved out of range nicely. Richards closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Richards tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Justine just stands there and leans against the cage. Richards is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Richards decides to pull guard. Justine with a flurry of punches that miss. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Justine jabbing away but nothing is landing. Richards closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Justine cracks Richards with an open hand slap. Justine punishes Richards's body with a nice straight punch. Justine throwing strikes from guard but Richards blocks nicely. Richards has his foot on Justine's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Murphy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Zak for as long as he can get away with. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Sorsa takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Repe Sorsa has been cut. Audet prevents Sorsa from breaking the clinch. Sorsa takes a knee right on the jaw!
Sorsa is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Audet tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

You can't force these things though and Sorsa defends well. Sorsa has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Audet is proving hard to escape from. Audet utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sorsa wants to control from the top but Audet keeps moving.

Sorsa trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Audet looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sorsa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sorsa landing some decent shots from guard. Audet wants to control but Sorsa passes easily into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sorsa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Audet is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Audet wants to control but Sorsa passes into side.

Sorsa working the strikes but Audet uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Sorsa working the head and body with strikes.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Norris looking to control but Watt is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Watt tries to hold on but Norris postures up. Norris has hold of Watt's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Watt manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Billy Blanks! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blanks looks for a takedown but Quinn sprawls well. Blanks misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Blanks tries for a takedown but Quinn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Peter Quinn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Blanks. Blanks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quinn tries to avoid it but Blanks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quinn to the ground. Quinn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Blanks fails in his attempt to clinch. Blanks tries to score a power double leg takedown but Quinn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Blanks somewhat. Blanks fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Blanks shoots in and drives through. Quinn sprawls well. Blanks looks gassed! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blanks fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Quinn avoids it really well and circles away. That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Quinn. No joy for Blanks on that attempt. Quinn shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Quinn showed some decent athleticism there. Quinn is controlling the pace.
Quinn seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Blanks for as long as he can get away with. Quinn is nestled in close to Blanks, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Quinn not doing much here.

Not this time though. Quinn controlling the pace. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Quinn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Blanks's head. Blanks didn't expect that. Peter Quinn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Blanks. Blanks looking for subs off his back but Quinn has passed one foot through into half guard.

Blanks decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Blanks wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quinn keeps working. Blanks is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Quinn doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Blanks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blanks tries to clinch up and Quinn counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Blanks throws a leg kick that misses. Blanks has his takedown stuffed and Quinn counters with a solid body kick. Blanks with a poor takedown and Quinn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Quinn not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Let's hope he's not broken it! Blanks is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Quinn has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Quinn! Quinn tries to stand but Blanks is controlling from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Blanks tries to land a sweep but no joy. Blanks working a defensive guard here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Blanks fails with the takedown and Quinn counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Peter Quinn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Blanks. Quinn decides to return to a standing position. Blanks tries to clinch up and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Danga de danga de dang - jrod scores with a four punch combination! jrod throws a nice looking combination but The Arson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. jrod uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before The Arson has time to react. The Arson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending jrod tumbling to the mat - The Arson dives into jrod's guard.
