The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordon throws a front kick aimed at Schwartz's knee but Schwartz avoids it well.

Jordon feints and as Schwartz raises his hands in defense, Jordon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jordon wants to pass the guard but Schwartz is keeping the position.
Schwartz wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schwartz pulls Jordon in close to his closed guard and prevents Jordon from doing any damage or advancing position.
Jordon wants to control from the top but Schwartz keeps moving.
