2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Augusto Fernandes! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powers shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fernandes napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fernandes is trying to get back to half guard. Powers in side control, throwing shots but Fernandes defends. Fernandes takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Powers creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Fernandes is looking for a sweep. Powers landing a few strikes. Fernandes is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Fernandes manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Powers's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Powers in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Powers lands a couple of decent looking shots. Fernandes passes to side control. Powers tries to get back to half guard but can't. Powers prevents Fernandes from moving into mount. Powers manages to get back to half guard. Powers is defending against the submission attempts here by Fernandes.
Powers on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Powers tries to get out of the position. Fernandes looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leoni will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chan wants it to stay on the feet. Leoni walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Chan lands a hook that stumbles Leoni back into the cage. Chan follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Leoni to the canvas! Chan pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Leoni has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Jones! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot by Hawkins. Hawkins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hawkins off to one side. Hawkins throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Hawkins shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hawkins showed some decent athleticism there. Hawkins is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones is refusing to be controlled, as Hawkins sits in half guard. Hawkins is looking for a kimura but Jones is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hawkins to get the leverage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawkins prevents Jones from improving his position. Hawkins is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jones defending well as Hawkins loads up on a big left hand. Jones tries to clinch but Hawkins is having none of it. Jones cracks Hawkins with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hawkins.

Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hawkins. Hawkins tries to clinch and Jones counters with a nice body shot. Hawkins connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Jones darts in and clinches Hawkins up against the cage. Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jones, as that shot connected.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hawkins has time to react. Hawkins scores with a nice right hand.
Hawkins looks to clinch and Jones counters with a left to the body. Hawkins is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hawkins loses concentration momentarily and Jones pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Hawkins crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Jones finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
