The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Navero scores with a slapping inside leg kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Henderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. No luck for Henderson with that takedown attempt. Henderson fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice jab there from Navero. Henderson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Navero. Navero throws a hook but Henderson blocks it. Navero lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. This has been an exciting period of action! Navero connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Henderson looks gassed! Henderson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Navero. Navero throws a nice outside leg kick. Henderson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Navero connects with a solid leg kick. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Navero - that will leave a mark!

Navero is looking to slow Henderson down with leg kicks. Henderson takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Navero tries to bum rush Henderson with a series of wild strikes but Henderson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A jab from Navero does it's job there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Navero scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Navero chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Oscar Navero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Navero is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Henderson swats away the attempt to clinch by Navero. Navero scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A solid leg kick lands there for Navero.
Navero misses with a body kick. Navero stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Navero chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Henderson takes one on the button. Navero lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Navero. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Navero.
Oscar Navero is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Navero throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Henderson is rocked! Navero connects with a nice cross there... Henderson is looking wobbly and Navero recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Henderson to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Navero jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Mayhem tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chikatilo swivels and escapes. Mayhem shoots for a takedown but Chikatilo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Chikatilo stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Mayhem. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mayhem shoots in for a takedown but Chikatilo shows good takedown defense. Mayhem fails with a takedown attempt. Chikatilo is looking to score with low kicks. Mayhem shoots in and drives through. Chikatilo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Chikatilo misses with a few strikes there.
Mayhem really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mayhem is defended easily by Chikatilo. Andrei Chikatilo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sujee fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Emmitt Jr slaps away a takedown attempt from Sujee, before circling back to the center of the mat. Emmitt Jr drops Sujee with a beautiful combination! Sujee stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Emmitt Jr is looking for the KO!
It looks like Punjab Sujee has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Emmitt Jr throws a head kick but Sujee moves out of range.

Sujee keeps the fight on the outside. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Emmitt Jr throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sujee gets a takedown into half guard. Sujee tries to pass the half guard into mount. Emmitt Jr knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Emmitt Jr on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Sujee works his way into side control. Sujee is trying to get an arm triangle but Emmitt Jr is defending well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ericsson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Thon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Dickie Thon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ericsson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Thon looks to land a right hand but Ericsson moved out of range. Thon tries to move into range but Ericsson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A jab from Thon does it's job there. Thon cracks Ericsson with a good jab. This has been an exciting period of action! A slow jab from Thon misses its intended target. Ericsson fails to land with a series of punches.
Thon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Thon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Thon wants to stand but Ericsson is controlling the position. Ericsson trying to control the position from guard on top but Thon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ericsson is looking to work some ground and pound but Thon has wrist control. Thon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Thon is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ericsson asserts his dominance and retains side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thon can do anything to dispel that myth. Ericsson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thon keeps working.

Ericsson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ericsson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ericsson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ericsson stops Thon from standing up. Ericsson lands a couple of elbows. Ericsson trying to control but Thon is working from the bottom. Ericsson with a nice head shot there. Thon lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ericsson! Thon raining down shots from the mount! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ericsson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ericsson really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Ericsson is pushing down on Thon's leg trying to pass to half guard. Thon is fighting to maintain full guard but Ericsson has managed to sneak the leg through. Thon wants to improve his position but Ericsson is controlling well.
Ericsson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ericsson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Thon wants to get back to his feet.
Ericsson slips a nice elbow through Thon's hands, connecting with Thon's forehead. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ericsson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Thon avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ericsson.

Thon throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thon looks to land a combination. Ericsson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Ericsson slips a jab from Thon. Ericsson lands a jab to the head.

and Ericsson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ericsson avoids the body shot from Thon.

Ericsson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Ericsson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Thon drops his hands momentarily and Ericsson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Thon throws a combination that misses letting Ericsson counter with a right hand. Thon swats away the attempt to clinch by Ericsson. Thon might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Ericsson moves out of range as Thon strikes.

Prince pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Prince feints and then cracks Myres's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Myres down. Myres changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Prince tries to avoid it but Myres manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Prince to the ground. Prince escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A low kick from Myres misses and Prince counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Myres tries to keep at a distance but Prince has taken the fight into the clinch. Myres working hard to break the clinch. Prince working Myres over with knees to the body. Prince lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Myres is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Prince misses with a knee to the head. Prince breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Flowers thowing shots but they're missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Flowers misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Timothy Flowers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Freida Felcher is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Flowers goes for an armbar but Felcher turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Felcher. Felcher stands up and waves to Flowers to follow him.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Jones! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamey Jasta! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jasta. Jasta bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jones tries to clinch but Jasta is having none of it. Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jasta. Jones swings for the body but Jasta moves out of range.
Jasta closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jones to the mat! Jones manages to get full guard. Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet. Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position. Jasta tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Jasta decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Jasta shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense. Jim Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamey Jasta. Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones throws a looping overhand right but Jasta ducks down to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones takes a swing at Jasta's ribcage but misses. Jones throws the left hand but Jasta avoids the punch easily. Jasta misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jones works the jab nicely.
It looks like Jamey Jasta has been cut. Jasta darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jasta on the ground. Jones wants to control but Jasta is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to get back to full guard. Jasta seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Jones is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
