The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGavin tries to move into range but Khomeini moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ayatollah Khomeini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McGavin gets caught flat footed, as Khomeini shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGavin looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Khomeini wants to control from the top but McGavin keeps moving.

McGavin working for a triangle but Khomeini defends it easily.

Power walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Potts checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Potts tries to close the distance and clinch up but Power swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Power feints a jab and as Potts dips his head, Power unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Potts right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Potts falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Power smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Laforce throws a right hand that Hordas ducks under and follows up with a left that Hordas also avoids with ease.
A slapping leg kick lands for Laforce.

Hordas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Laforce was covering up waiting for the punch and Hordas finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Jack lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lancelot will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
