The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Terkey circles away quickly and effectively.
Jones throws a front kick that sends Terkey stumbling back into the ropes.
Horrible takedown by Terkey or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.
Terkey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Terkey persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jones looks like he's trying to stand up.
Terkey seems to be looking for submissions.
Terkey throws a strike but Jones avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
