3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Davy Geerts! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Casanova moves in looking to clinch but Geerts pushes him off. Casanova misses with a low kick as Geerts jumps back. Left hook, right uppercut from Casanova . Casanova throws a body punch but Geerts moves out of range. Casanova fails to land the takedown. Casanova scores with a jab to the head.
Casanova throws a right and a left that Geerts avoids nicely. Casanova misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Casanova tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Casanova jabs at Geerts's body. Casanova shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Casanova showed some decent athleticism there. Casanova trying to control the action but Geerts is working from the bottom. Geerts has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Casanova is working away from the top position though.

Casanova plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Casanova has his takedown stuffed and Geerts counters with a nice double leg into side control. Casanova won't be happy with that. Geerts decides to take the fight back to the feet. Casanova scoring well with a low kick there.

Geerts shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Casanova 's guard. Geerts working some strikes from top position. Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Geerts advances position into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice sprawl there from Casanova as Geerts shoots in. Geerts scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Casanova sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Davy Geerts will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Geerts walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Geerts shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Geerts showed some decent athleticism there. Still in half guard, Geerts seems content to control. Geerts is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Geerts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Casanova swivels though and keeps the full guard. Geerts pushes down on Casanova 's leg and manages to get into half guard. Geerts wants to advance to full mount but Casanova doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Geerts drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Casanova manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Geerts has Casanova in his guard. Casanova avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Casanova looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Geerts wants to sweep here but Casanova controlling him for the moment. Casanova wants to control from the top but Geerts keeps moving. Geerts looking for a sweep. Not yet Geerts, not yet. Geerts working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Casanova doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Casanova manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Casanova won't allow Geerts to sweep him here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Davy Geerts showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Kahric has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Kahric has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kahric shoots in but Boom avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kahric is breathing heavily. Kahric shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Boom is looking to escape. Kahric is looking for a kimura here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kahric is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Boom reverses the position - he's now on top in Kahric's guard. Kahric is trying to control the position but Boom postures up. Boom gets to his feet. Kahric looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Kahric tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Boom swivels and escapes. The fighters circling - Boom throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kahric is not content to let Boom control the position. Boom stands up and beckons Kahric to his feet. Boom throws a leg kick that misses. Boom looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Boom stands up and waves to Kahric to follow him.

Boom throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kahric on the side of the head. Boom clinches up against the cage. Boom tries to break the clinch but Kahric is controlling the position. Boom keeps control of Kahric as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Boom controlling the position from side mount. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kahric misses with a takedown attempt and Boom makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kahric really felt that one! Kahric gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Boom counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samir Kahric. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boom gets to his feet. Kahric looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Kahric is looking to clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boom is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kahric asserts his dominance and retains side control. Kahric has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. A choreographed right hand from Boom misses the target. Boom misses with a looping right. Boom throws an off balance right hand
and Kahric counters with a stiff right hand. Boom scores with a decent looking hook. Boom throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kahric counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kahric moves out of range as Boom throws a body kick.

Boom bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Kahric throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

He's almost out here... but no, Boom gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Boom decides to take the fight back to the feet. Kahric tries to clinch and Boom counters with an inside leg kick. Nice sprawl there from Boom as Kahric shoots in. Kahric takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Kahric takes one on the button. Boom fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kahric sprawls well initially but Boom persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Boom is taking a breather. Kahric says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Kahric wants to control but Boom is keeping busy and won't allow it. Boom decides to stand up. Kahric fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kahric keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Samir Kahric is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kahric clinches. Boom escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Kahric counters with a series of strikes. Boom will be more careful next time no doubt. Boom moves out of range of the leg kick from Kahric. Boom with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boom chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kahric can pounce on him.

Boom is leaning against Kahric and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Boom is trying to break free. Kahric prevents a takedown attempt there.
Boom escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kahric drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Boom manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kahric has Boom in his guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Boom stays in close to Kahric's body and controls the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Bing Boom comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Boom has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
