0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barney Stinson! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Daniels misses. Stinson fails with the takedown. Daniels gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Jack Daniels has been cut. Stinson looks to land a combination but Daniels avoids it well. Stinson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stinson misses with a two punch combination.
Stinson defending well as Daniels loads up on a big left hand. Stinson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Daniels. Stinson ducks right into an uppercut from Daniels.
It looks like Barney Stinson has been cut. Daniels is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stinson. Daniels ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stinson moves away. A punch combination from Stinson misses. Daniels drops Stinson with a beautiful combination! Stinson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Daniels is looking for the KO!
Stinson is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Daniels swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stinson is still on wobbly legs! Can Daniels finish him? Stinson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Daniels.
Daniels drops his shoulder and cracks Stinson with a huge uppercut! Stinson goes down! Can Daniels finish him?
Daniels gets to his feet and stands over Stinson, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Stinson felt that one! Daniels unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Stinson from any more punishment!

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Teichroew! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Dixon! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teichroew throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dixon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dixon avoids the head kick by Teichroew.
Teichroew throws a nice looking combination but Dixon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dixon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Dixon throws a right hand that Teichroew ducks under and follows up with a left that Teichroew also avoids with ease. Craig Teichroew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Teichroew misses with a few strikes there.
Nice defenses there by Dixon. No joy there for Teichroew, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dixon looks for a takedown but Teichroew sprawls well. Dixon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Teichroew sprawls well. Teichroew wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dixon gets slowly back to his feet. Craig Teichroew has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Dixon. Teichroew throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Dixon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's one minute gone in the round. Teichroew controls Dixon momentarily but Dixon frees himself. Dixon throwing strikes from guard but Teichroew blocks nicely. Dixon lands a couple of decent looking shots. Dixon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Teichroew has Dixon pulled in close to control his posture. Dixon trying to control but Teichroew is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dixon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Teichroew avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dixon wants to control from the top but Teichroew keeps moving. Dixon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dixon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dixon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Teichroew swivels and escapes. Dixon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Teichroew defends it nicely. Teichroew's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Teichroew duly obliges. Teichroew falls off balance throwing a combination
and Teichroew takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Teichroew scores with a one two! Dixon had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Dixon dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Dixon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Teichroew counters with a three punch combo that has Dixon backing up. Dixon nods at Teichroew to acknowledge the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Teichroew ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Dixon throws a shot from downtown. Teichroew moves away and avoids it. No joy there for Teichroew, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dixon fails with the takedown and Teichroew makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Craig Teichroew has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Dixon. Teichroew looks to land a combination but Dixon avoids it well. Teichroew throws a right and a left that both miss. Teichroew misses with the combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dixon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Dixon dodges the punch combination from Teichroew.

Dixon has his takedown stuffed and Teichroew counters with a left and a right that stings Dixon. Teichroew lands a nice looking body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Teichroew digs a good body shot into Dixon's ribs. Left hook, right uppercut from Teichroew. Teichroew tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Teichroew scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Dixon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Dixon shoots and misses and Teichroew cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dixon on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dixon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dixon showed some decent athleticism there. Dixon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Teichroew keeps working. Dixon not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Teichroew is refusing to be controlled, as Dixon sits in half guard. Teichroew is trying to stand back up but Dixon is controlling him

Dixon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Teichroew keeping moving, preventing Dixon from controlling successfully. Dixon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dixon thows a big elbow that misses. Teichroew pushes Dixon off and scrambles back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Dixon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dixon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Azag has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Render keeping full guard, as Azag tries to pass. Render is looking to stand up but Azag isn't so interested in that idea. Azag gets to his feet - Render follows without any prompting. Render looks to land a combination. Azag sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Render pushing out the jab but it's not landing. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Render has his feet on Azag's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Azag moves out of range as Render throws a body kick.

Render is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Render manages to kick Azag off! Azag jumps back into Render's guard. Render manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Render misses with an uppercut. Azag saw that one coming. Render lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Azag circles away quickly and effectively. Azag defending well as Render loads up on a big left hand. Render decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Azag taking some punishment here, with Render in his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Render decides to return to a standing position. Render misses with a body kick. Render rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Azag moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Render connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Render misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Azag drops his hands momentarily and Render takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Jab, jab by Render - just one landing. Render scores with a jab to the jaw. Render delivers a nice body kick. Render tries a low kick but Azag avoids it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Render throws a series of strikes that have Azag backpedaling.

Albert Azag dominated that round. That's time! Render's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Azag keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Render. Chris Render seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A decent looking body kick lands there for Render. Render throws a front kick that sends Azag stumbling back into the cage. Render thumps Azag with a low kick. Render throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Render will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Azag tries to close the distance and clinch but Render swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Render throws a front kick aimed at Azag's knee but Azag avoids it well. Render swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A good leg kick by Render. Render shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Azag as he jumps to the side. Render lands with a right hand. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Render. Azag is breathing heavily. Render lands with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Render lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Azag backs up against the cage.
Chris Render is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Azag ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Render misses with a straight right. Render avoids a punch combination nicely.
Azag takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Azag staying out of range there. Render connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Render - that will leave a mark!

Azag moves out of range as Render strikes. Azag walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. No luck for Render with that takedown attempt. Render throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Render misses with a takedown attempt and Azag counters with a nice double leg into side control. Render won't be happy with that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Render explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Render shoots in for a takedown but Azag shows good takedown defense. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Render - that will leave a mark!

Azag moves forwards but Render connects with a nice, crisp jab. Render shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Render stands and steps away. Azag gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Nice jab there from Render. Render shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Azag napping and manages to drive through into side control! Azag is trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Render cracks Azag with a big elbow. Render decides to take the fight back to the feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Render throws a nice looking combination but Azag bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Render tries for a takedown but Azag sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Render misses with a leg kick. Azag gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Render to score an easy takedown into full guard. Render controls from within his opponent's guard. Azag utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Azag is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Render passes into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Azag takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Azag steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Render. That one must have hurt. Render shoots in and drives through. Azag sprawls well. Render feints and then cracks Azag's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Azag down. A big right from Render misses. Render looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Render postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Azag to stand up. Azag throws a series of punches but Render avoids them all with ease. Render throws an overhand right that lands on Azag's shoulder, as Azag tries to avoid the shot. Render lands with a hook. Azag tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Render with a hook. Azag has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Render. Render scores with a punch to the head. Render connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Azag takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Pierce is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Carr fails with the takedown. Pierce lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pierce. Pierce dives in and grabs Carr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Carr pushes down on Pierce's head and hops out. You can't force these things though and Pierce defends well. Malik Carr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Carr wants to sweep here but Pierce controlling him for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Angel Pierce comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pierce has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Laurent displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Yeerum. Yeerum moves out of range of the body kick. A head kick misses from Yeerum. Laurent swats away the attempt to clinch by Yeerum. A head kick misses from Yeerum. Yeerum throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Laurent counters with a two punch combo. Yeerum throws a lazy body kick and Laurent counters with an inside leg kick. Yeerum moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Laurent throws a nice looking combination but Yeerum bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Yeerum looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Laurent is looking to escape. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yeerum tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Laurent counters with a single leg into guard. Yeerum didn't expect that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Laurent wants to stand but Yeerum is controlling his posture from full guard. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Yeerum cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Laurent tries to hold on but Yeerum postures up. Laurent is looking to improve his position but Yeerum isn't that keen on the idea. Yeerum has control of Laurent's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Laurent regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Yeerum jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Laurent manages to avoid the submission attempt. Yeerum is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Laurent knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Laurent tries to bench press Yeerum off him but Yeerum keeps the position.

Laurent is trying to maintain the position but Yeerum is very close to passing his half guard. George Laurent has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Panom Yeerum. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Yeerum, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Freeman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McNulty .
Freeman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. McNulty avoids the head kick by Freeman.

Freeman plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Freeman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Freeman takes a body punch but keeps moving. McNulty is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Freeman throws a quick head kick that knocks McNulty silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Freeman is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
