The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Liddell.
Kiuvaha throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Liddell to counter with a crisp jab.
Kiuvaha misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Liddell lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Kiuvaha is rocked!
Kiuvaha tries a head kick but it misses.
Kiuvaha is still on wobbly legs! Can Liddell finish him?
Liddell lands with a nice body punch.
Kiuvaha seems to have recovered his senses.
Liddell checks a leg kick nicely.
Oooh a lovely combination from Liddell sends Kiuvaha down but not out. Liddell dives into side control looking to finish.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kiuvaha manages to get back to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Kiuvaha manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Kiuvaha looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Liddell has picked Kiuvaha up and slammed him! Kiuvaha can't keep hold of the triangle and Liddell manages to pass to side control!

Liddell avoids the head kick by Kiuvaha.
Kiuvaha should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Liddell throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Kiuvaha colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Liddell as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Kiuvaha is left battered and dazed whilst Liddell and his camp cheer!

Oh but Staples is tightening it up a little... Hakulinen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hakulinen reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hakulinen taps out! nice BJJ there by Staples!

Shissler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagasaki tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pekka fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pekka slips a jab and a cross from Nagasaki.
Pekka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nagasaki circles away.

Nagasaki closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Pekka is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Pekka is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Shinjiro Nagasaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nagasaki lands a big head kick that sends Pekka to the canvas! Nagasaki follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Gotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Lugermesiter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lugermesiter has chosen Machinehead - Bush as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Gotti feints and as Lugermesiter raises his hands in defense, Gotti changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Lugermesiter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gotti can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Gotti won't allow Lugermesiter to sweep him here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Gotti drops back looking for a leg! Lugermesiter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lugermesiter manages to kick Gotti off! Gotti jumps back into Lugermesiter's guard.

Lugermesiter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gotti can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gotti thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Gotti stands and throws Lugermesiter's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lugermesiter is looking for a sweep.

Gotti tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gotti has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Lugermesiter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gotti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gotti is breathing heavily.
Lugermesiter gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Gotti has hold of Lugermesiter's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lugermesiter manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Lugermesiter is in all sorts of trouble here.

Gotti is working for a guillotine from mount but Lugermesiter frees his head quite easily.

Gotti has isolated one of Lugermesiter's arms. Lugermesiter looking to fight him off but Gotti twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
