The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zubersoft fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smith, pushing him back against the ropes.
Zubersoft trying to control the position but instead, Smith has worked for underhooks and has pushed Zubersoft into the ropes.
Smith tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Zubersoft just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Smith tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Smith can't get the takedown.
David Zubersoft has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Smith.
Smith gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Zubersoft.
Smith is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Smith wants the takedown. Zubersoft is fighting it off but Smith persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Zubersoft's guard against the ropes.

Smith isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Zubersoft stacks Smith on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Zubersoft!
