1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Zeigler! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zeigler throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Zeigler scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mopsi in his tracks.
It looks like Barde Mopsi has been cut. A right-left combo lands from Zeigler. Mopsi tries to clinch there but Zeigler circles away.
Zeigler keeps the fight on the outside. A cross from Zeigler lands. Mopsi checks the leg kick. Zeigler swinging wilding here.
Zeigler's corner calls for a 1-2. Zeigler obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Zeigler lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mopsi circles away quickly and effectively. Zeigler looks to land a combination but Mopsi avoids it well. Zeigler throws a right and a left that both miss. Mopsi misses with a low kick.
No joy there for Zeigler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

It looks like Jake Zeigler has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zeigler lands the left hand. Zeigler stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zeigler wants it to stay on the feet. Zeigler throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zeigler throws a right and a left that Mopsi avoids nicely. Zeigler lands with a hook. Mopsi tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Zeigler takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Mopsi throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Zeigler tries to break free but Mopsi pushes him back against the cage. Zeigler takes an elbow to the forehead. Mopsi lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Zeigler is rocked! Mopsi connects with a nasty looking knee right to Zeigler's face.
Zeigler is still on wobbly legs! Can Mopsi finish him? clinched against the cage, Mopsi lands a big elbow that drops Zeigler! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Zeigler is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crier gets a clinch. Crier misses with a body punch.
Crier is working for takedown but Vinicius is calmly controlling the position for now. Crier keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Vinicius's efforts to push away. Crier is pressed up against the cage. Vinicius has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Crier down to the mat. Crier avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. The fight moves into the clinch position. Crier is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Vinicius wants a takedown.
Crier has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Vinicius is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Crier. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vinicius wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Crier has him pressed against the cage. Vinicius lands a left hand that snaps the head of Crier backwards. Vinicius dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Crier wants a takedown but no success here.

Vinicius softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Vinicius is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Crier manages to break the clinch.
Vinicius with a poor takedown and Crier counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Vinicius looks gassed! Crier is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Crier not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Vinicius really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Vinicius avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Crier. Crier drops an elbow to the side of Vinicius's head. Vinicius tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Vinicius is defending against the submission attempts here by Crier.
Vinicius is trying to get back to full guard. Crier looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vinicius can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vinicius won't allow Crier to pass to mount. Vinicius moves into full guard.
Crier throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vinicius works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Crier throwing strikes but missing. Crier pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Vinicius is keeping the position for now. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crier accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Vinicius tries to clinch and Vinicius takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Vinicius throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Vinicius circles away from the clinch attempt and Vinicius holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Vinicius is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Crier pulls him back up using the underhooks. Vinicius blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Vinicius lands a nice uppercut. A short right from Vinicius. Vinicius breaks from the clinch.
Crier instigates a clinch. Vinicius wants the takedown. Crier is fighting it off but Vinicius persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Crier's guard against the cage. Crier is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vinicius throws and elbow that misses. Crier uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Vinicius's guard. Nice move by Crier! Vinicius wants to get back to his feet but Crier is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Crier dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuklinski shoots in for a takedown but Shadow shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kuklinski shoots in but Shadow avoids the takedown attempt easily. Shadow throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Shadow fails with a takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kuklinski. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Kuklinski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kuklinski shoots in but Shadow avoids the takedown attempt easily. Shadow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kuklinski with a poor takedown and Shadow counters with a big head kick but Kuklinski shrugs it off.

Shadow circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Kuklinski drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Shadow follows Kuklinski to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
