The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ultra circles away.
Maxwell throws a body kick that misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Maxwell.
Ultra works Maxwell's body with a nice hook.
Ultra throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Maxwell dodges the punch combination from Ultra.
Juan Maxwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ultra lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Nice jab there from Ultra.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Maxwell shoots for a double leg takedown but Ultra sprawls well. He's pushed Maxwell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
MK Ultra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Maxwell.
Ultra lands with an uppercut that bounces Maxwell off the cage and back into rage.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Ultra knocks Maxwell out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gus Dengel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanker Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dengel kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "Chainsaw" by Skinny Puppy. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Kid misses with a takedown attempt - Dengel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kid has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dengel.

Dengel catches Kid with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Dengel tests Kid's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kid tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dengel swivels and escapes.

Dengel connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kid. Kid circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Kid shoots in for a double leg but Dengel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kid is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kid is still on wobbly legs! Can Dengel finish him?

Dengel gets the takedown into side control.
Dengel cracks Kid with a big right hand but Kid just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Dengel in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Kid looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Dengel turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Varnson cracks Babel with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Babel looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Varnson finish him?

Babel drops his hands momentarily and Varnson needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Babel just on the top of the head. Babel drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Babel - he's done!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Paukku crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kanuuna - the referee stops the clock and Paukku gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kanuuna. Paukku manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Keijo Kanuuna showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
