Yemelyanenko throws a nice looking combination but Drago bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Drago cracks Yemelyanenko with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Drago drops Yemelyanenko with a beautiful combination! Yemelyanenko stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Drago is looking for the KO!
Drago misses with a few strikes there.
Yemelyanenko wants to clinch up but Drago keeps it at a distance.
Drago cracks Yemelyanenko with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Yemelyanenko tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Drago pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Yemelyanenko is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

DeSalvo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and DeSalvo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from DeSalvo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Ninefingers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hawk pinned against the cage. Hawk gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ninefingers feints and as Hawk raises his hands in defense, Ninefingers changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Ninefingers throwing strikes from guard but Hawk blocks nicely.

Ninefingers has gone for a leg lock! Hawk slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ninefingers's guard.
Hawk throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ninefingers works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
