Fujita kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is b. Jackson has chosen Daylight as his entrance music. Marques Jackson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marques Jackson! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fujita fails to land the takedown. Jackson's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Jackson duly obliges.
It looks like Kazuo Fujita has been cut. Fujita scores with a takedown into Jackson's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action! Fujita wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position. Fujita throwing strikes but missing. Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fujita is one step ahead there. Jackson trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fujita trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fujita trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. Fujita might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jackson is controlling Fujita's posture.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jackson wants to clinch up but Fujita keeps it at a distance. Jackson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fujita fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jackson manages to avoid it. Jackson rushes Fujita and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fujita jumps guard.
Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fujita swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jackson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fujita wants to get back to his feet but Jackson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fujita swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jackson wants to control from the top but Fujita keeps moving. Fujita working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fujita is breathing heavily. Jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Jackson darts in and clinches Fujita up against the cage. Jackson is trying to break the clinch but Fujita has him pressed against the cage. Jackson is looking to control Fujita's arms but Fujita gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jackson has his back to the cage. Fujita has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jackson uses from the top position. Fujita looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fujita's head. Jackson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Jackson trying to control but Fujita is working from the bottom. Fujita is working an open guard so Jackson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Jackson has managed to clinch.
Jackson lands a body punch. Jackson scores with an uppercut up the middle. Fujita is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jackson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jackson has clasped his hands together around Fujita's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Fujita takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Fujita tries to control but Jackson manages to take his back. Jackson punishes Fujita with strikes from the back mount. Jackson lands strikes to the head. Jackson is working the ground and pound. Can Fujita escape?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Jackson gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Jackson gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Jackson apologises and we restart here on the feet.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jackson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Jackson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Fujitas head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fujita paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kazuo Fujita is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jackson fails with the takedown and Fujita counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jackson won't be happy with that. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jackson gets back to half guard. Fujita trying to control from Jackson's half guard. Jackson has other ideas though and has regained full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fujita looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fujita looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fujita! Fujita trying to control the action but Jackson is working from the bottom. Jackson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Fujita stands up and beckons Jackson to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fujita moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Fujita tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jackson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fujita somewhat. Fujita is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Jackson looks for the body kick but Fujita saw that one coming. Jackson instigates a clinch. Jackson presses Fujita against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Jackson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fujita's brow. Fujita wants a takedown.
Still in the clinch, Jackson scores with a nice short uppercut. Fujita jumps guard but Jackson stands there with Fujita around his waist. Fujita gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kazuo Fujita has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Marques Jackson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fujita tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jackson's elbow.
And that's the end of the fight! Marques Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Blackman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Blackman has hold of Headman's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Headman tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Blackman cranks the arm and Headman screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Headman, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mc Arthur fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tanahasi misses with a two punch combination.
Tanahasi throws a series of punches but Mc Arthur moves out of range. Mc Arthur tries to clinch but Tanahasi moves out of range. A right-left combo lands from Mc Arthur. Koji Tanahasi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mc Arthur fails with the takedown. Mc Arthur walks into a jab. Mc Arthur shoots in looking for a takedown. Tanahasi tries to sprawl out of it but Mc Arthur keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. That's three minutes gone in the round. Mc Arthur slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Tanahasi is keen to just control but Mc Arthur is a slippery customer. Mc Arthur punching from the bottom.
Mc Arthur is looking for a sweep. Tanahasi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mc Arthur is not content to let Tanahasi control the position. Tanahasi not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Tanahasi prevents Mc Arthur from improving his position. Tanahasi working over Mc Arthur with some ground and pound. Mc Arthur looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mc Arthur tries to kick Tanahasi off but Tanahasi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Tanahasi clinches up against the cage. Mc Arthur fails to pull guard.
Tanahasi trying to control the position but instead, Mc Arthur has worked for underhooks and has pushed Tanahasi into the cage. Tanahasi scores with a hook to the body. Mc Arthur tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tanahasi just stands there and leans against the cage. Tanahasi presses Mc Arthur against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Tanahasi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mc Arthur throws a shot from downtown. Tanahasi moves away and avoids it. Tanahasi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tanahasi scores with a three punch combo!
Mc Arthur fails with the takedown. Tanahasi tries to bum rush Mc Arthur with a series of wild strikes but Mc Arthur uses good footwork to avoid the assault. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Koji Tanahasi will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Mc Arthur with a lazy takedown attempt and Tanahasi counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Tanahasi lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Mc Arthur checks a leg kick. Tanahasi throws a series of punches but Mc Arthur avoids them all with ease. Mc Arthur dodges the punch combination from Tanahasi.
Mc Arthur darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Mc Arthur stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Douglas Mc Arthur has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Koji Tanahasi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mc Arthur is looking to clinch but Tanahasi is avoiding it.
And that's the end of the fight! Koji Tanahasi showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tanahasi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andersson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Andersson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Tarantado shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sheppard scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Sheppard throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
