8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Dover! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slow throws a right and a left that both miss. Slow defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dover. Slow throws a body punch but Dover moves out of range. Dover shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slow pinned against the cage. Slow gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Slow throws a nice looking combination but Dover bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dover is defended easily by Slow. Joe Slow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Dover. A right-left combo lands from Slow.
It looks like Ben Dover has been cut. Left hook, right uppercut from Slow. Dover shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A shot to de liver by Slow. Beautiful body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Slow fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Slow looks to land a combination but Dover avoids it well. Dover shoots in but no luck this time.

Dover shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slow pinned against the cage. Slow gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dover looks gassed! Dover keeps the fight on the outside. Slow fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Slow lands a two punch combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. No joy there for Slow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Slow throws a series of punches but Dover moves out of range. Dover is trying desperately to land a takedown but Slow is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Dover.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dover is trying to drag Slow to the mat but Slow just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Slow tries to score a body lock takedown but Dover shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Slow goes for a takedown attempt but Dover pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Slow darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Slow is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dover doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Slow. Dover wants to improve his position but Slow is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slow is working for a submission of some sort.
Dover slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Dover looking for a guillotine here but Slow defends easily.
Dover has his foot on Slow's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slow works his way back into a safe position though. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Slow looking to pass the guard. Dover keeping moving, preventing Slow from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Slow dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ben Dover's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Dover misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Dover swats away the attempt to clinch by Slow. Slow scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Slow drops Dover with a beautiful combination! Dover stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Slow is looking for the KO! Slow scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Dover is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Slow moves into range and clinches up with Dover. Slow wants a takedown but no success here.

Slow is pressing down on Dover's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Slow is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dover is aware though and is defending well. Dover drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dover jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Slow is looking to stand up but Dover isn't so interested in that idea. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Can Slow avoid being mounted? Dover trying to mount his opponent but Slow defends it. Slow moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dover forces his way into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dover is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Slow has managed to free his arm - good work. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Slow looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Dover prevents Slow from improving his position. Dover is working for a kimura but Slow is defending it quite comfortably.
Slow is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dover's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dover's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slow is cranking Dover's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Dover! He's tightened the choke and Dover is tapping out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davison defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Alfonzo. Alfonzo has a takedown stuffed. Davison slaps away a takedown attempt from Alfonzo, before circling back to the center of the mat. Henry Davison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drew Alfonzo. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Alfonzo is defended easily by Davison. Alfonzo shoots in and drives through. Davison sprawls well. Alfonzo closes the distance and clinches up with Davison, looking for a takedown. Alfonzo pushes Davison against the cage but Davison circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Alfonzo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Little has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Howell finds it's way round the side to connect with Little's head. Little tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Howell throws a head kick that misses. Little is looking to clinch. Howell circles away from the clinch attempt.
Little closes the distance and clinches. Little swings wildly with an uppercut but Howell uses good head movement to avoid it. Howell blocking some punches.

Howell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Little tries to clinch but fails miserably and Howell counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Little! Little is trying desperately to improve position. Howell controlling the pace for now. Little is wriggling around trying to escape.
John Little has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Wood drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Walker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wood has Walker in his guard. Wood looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Walker scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Walker is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wood can do to turn this around? Walker lands a hook that stumbles Wood back into the cage. Walker follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Wood to the canvas! Pelican is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
