Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Georges Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimincio Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cote's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fresh Azimiz- Bow Wow. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dimincio Ortiz! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cote lands a head kick!
It looks like Dimincio Ortiz has been cut. Ortiz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cote avoids it really well and circles away. Ortiz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ortiz lands in his opponent's guard. Cote working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ortiz. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cote looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ortiz is one step ahead there. Ortiz is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Cote rolls with it to try and escape but Ortiz cranks on the arm and Cote is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spahr tries to clinch up. Spahr takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Ferrozo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Ferrozo throws a nice looking combination but Spahr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Spahr tries to clinch there but Ferrozo circles away.

Spahr is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Spahr takes a shot right to the bread basket. Ferrozo swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Spahr. Spahr tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ferrozo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ferrozo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Spahr moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Spahr takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Spahr slips under a jab. Ferrozo cracks a nice hook into Spahr's ribs. Spahr is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ferrozo cracks Spahr with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Spahr tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Ferrozo pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Spahr is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Munn. Munn prevents Toro from escaping the position. Munn tries to score with some ground and pound. Toro controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Munn swings around for an armbar but Toro sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Munn's guard. Toro gets to his feet - Munn follows without any prompting. Toro lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Toro tries to bum rush Munn with a series of wild strikes but Munn uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Munn jabbing away but nothing is landing. Toro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Munn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Toro misses with a few strikes there.

and Toro makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. A clash of legs there as Munn blocks the low kick. Toro scores with a three punch combo!
