 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch lands to the side of New York Bad Ass 's head but he takes it in his stride. New York Bad Ass throws a right and a left that both miss. Morgan takes one to the side of the head.
Morgan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. New York Bad Ass looking for a sweep. Not yet New York Bad Ass, not yet.
Morgan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Morgan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. New York Bad Ass trying to keep a closed guard but Morgan is proving a slippery customer.
Morgan stands and steps away. New York Bad Ass gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. New York Bad Ass throws a head kick but Morgan moves out of range.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! rumputuli walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Nieddds lands a jab to the head.
rumputuli shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
rumputuli goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Nieddds turns into him and now he's in rumputuli's guard.
Nieddds controls from within his opponent's guard. Nieddds has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. rumputuli wants to sweep here but Nieddds controlling him for the moment.

Nieddds dips down and scores with a jab to the body. rumputuli shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nieddds but Nieddds pushes him off and we're back to square one. A lazy left from Nieddds finds it's target. rumputuli tries to clinch up but Nieddds circles away and keeps his distance. Nieddds throws a nice looking combination but rumputuli bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. rumputuli takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nieddds, as that shot connected.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pappa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tyree as he avoids it easily. Eddie Pappa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tyree swats away the attempt to clinch by Pappa. Tyree displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pappa.
Tyree scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pappa can do anything to dispel that myth. Tyree working the ground and pound. Pappa manages to work his way to half guard, despite Tyree's best efforts. Pappa is looking for a sweep. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duke shoots in looking for a takedown. Carbone tries to sprawl out of it but Duke keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carbone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Duke shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Carbone sprawls well. Carbone wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Duke gets slowly back to his feet.

Luiz Carbone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randolph Duke. A frustrated look appears on Carbone's face as he tries to break the clinch. Duke wants a takedown.

He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carbone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Duke on the ground.
