 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jenkins. Stevens looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Stevens throws a series of punches but Jenkins avoids them all with ease. Stevens misses with a head kick.
Stevens looks for the body kick but Jenkins saw that one coming. Jenkins looks for a takedown but Stevens sprawls well. Jenkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stevens tries to avoid it but Jenkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stevens to the ground. Stevens escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jenkins shoots in and bounces Stevens off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Jenkins looking to pass the guard.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patterson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sanchez shoots in looking for a takedown. Patterson tries to sprawl out of it but Sanchez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Patterson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Patterson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanchez moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Patterson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sanchez checks it well.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Patterson. Sanchez looking for a takedown.
Sanchez has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Patterson regains guard immediately. Sanchez preventing the sweep. Sanchez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Patterson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Patterson keeping moving, preventing Sanchez from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Patterson is working an open guard so Sanchez takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Patterson is looking to chop away at Sanchez's legs. Patterson misses with the combination.
Patterson lands a jab-cross combination. Some wild striking there from Patterson.
Sanchez checks the leg kick nicely there.
Sanchez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Patterson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sanchez off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Patterson closes the distance and lands a one-two. Patterson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Patterson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Derek Patterson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Sanchez. Sanchez looks gassed!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Patterson digs a good hook to Sanchez's body.
Sanchez takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Patterson lands a head shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Left hook, right uppercut from Patterson. Sanchez is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Patterson.
 Sanchez is rocked! Patterson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Patterson seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Sanchez is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clarkson moves out of range of the strikes. Clarkson moves out of range as Hard strikes. Hard throws a shot from downtown. Clarkson moves away and avoids it. Clarkson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Clarkson avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Clarkson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hard's waist but Hard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Clarkson off to one side. Hard loads up on a big right hand but Clarkson slips the punch. Clarkson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hard looks to throw the jab but Clarkson is out of range. Clarkson blocks a jab. Hard throws a shot from downtown. Clarkson moves away and avoids it. Clarkson misses with a jab, cross combination.

Hard gets caught flat footed, as Clarkson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hard lands a decent shot there. Hard lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.

Clarkson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hard is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Clarkson yanks on the arm and Hard is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Clarkson.

Jones throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jones distracts Meridius with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jones has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Meridius to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jones is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Meridius pulls down on the head and he's put Jones to sleep! This one is all over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wong changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kalakaua tries to avoid it but Wong manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kalakaua to the ground. Kalakaua escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A jab from Kalakaua finds it's way through Wong's defenses. Kalakaua lands a high kick!
Kalakaua slaps away a takedown attempt from Wong, before circling back to the center of the mat. Wong fails to land the takedown. Humu Kalakaua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lawrence Wong. Kalakaua throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Wong's head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Kalakaua. No joy for Wong on that attempt. Wong closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kalakaua circles away. Kalakaua goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Wong takes a jab right on the kisser.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wong is defended easily by Kalakaua. Nice sprawl there from Kalakaua as Wong shoots in.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kalakaua displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wong. Kalakaua really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wong shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kalakaua swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wong preventing the sweep. Wong throws a strike but Kalakaua rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kalakaua wants to stand but Wong is controlling his posture from full guard.

Wong is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kalakaua defends well.

Kalakaua gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Wong shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kalakaua as he avoids it easily. Wong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Humu Kalakaua dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Wong shoots in for a takedown but Kalakaua shows good takedown defense. Wong tries for a takedown but Kalakaua sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Humu Kalakaua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lawrence Wong. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kalakaua lands with a kick to the temple. Wong shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and Kalakaua counters with a one-two to the body. Wong throws a sloppy head kick and Kalakaua counters with a straight right hand. Wong shoots and misses letting Kalakaua counter with a right hand. Wong misses with a takedown attempt and Kalakaua counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Humu Kalakaua is winning the standup battle so far.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Wong has his takedown stuffed
and Kalakaua counters with a head kick that drops Wong to the mat! Wong scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Lawrence Wong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wong is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wong takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Humu Kalakaua is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wong misses with a takedown attempt and Kalakaua counters with a left and a right that stings Wong.

Kalakaua wants to get back to his feet but Wong is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Wong wants to control from the top but Kalakaua keeps moving. Kalakaua is adopting a defensive guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wong trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Wong tries for a takedown but Kalakaua circles away easily and Kalakaua counters with a straight right hand. Wong takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Wong shoots and misses and Kalakaua counters with a left and a right that stings Wong. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Kalakaua fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Anstey leaves Llamer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Anstey takes one on the button. Llamer swings away with a leg kick that misses. Llamer wants to slow Anstey down by chopping away at his legs. Llamer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Anstey circles away.
