0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brian Michikano! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mariachi gets in close and instigates a clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Mariachi as Michikano tries to tie him up. Michikano is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mariachi gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Michikano has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mariachi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Michikano looking for a takedown. Diego Mariachi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Michikano. Mariachi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mariachi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Michikano pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mariachi is keeping the position for now. Possibly, maybe, no Michikano has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Michikano is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Andersen has picked Benato up - he's going for a ride! Andersen dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Andersen wants to take a breather but Benato is having none of it. Benato tries to kick Andersen off in order to stand up. Andersen Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Benato is trying to get back to half guard. Andersen looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Andersen tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Benato tries to buck Andersen off but Andersen is having none of it.

Benato throws a wild body kick that Andersen sees coming a mile off. Andersen closes the distance and pushes Benato back into the cage. Andersen gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Benato.

Carvalho tries to bum rush Manosh with a series of wild strikes but Manosh uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Carvalho works the jab nicely. Carvalho tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Manosh was well out of range. Poor timing from Carvalho. Manosh moves away from the strike by Carvalho. Manosh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carvalho is looking for a sweep. A lull in the action here. Manosh fails to land a wild elbow strike.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Silva! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackman misses with a wild combination.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jackman.
Jackman throws a nice head kick!
Jackman lunges at Silva with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Silva's hand. Jackman works over Silva's head and body with a nice combination. Silva needs to keep his hands up - Jackman had a free shot at his head there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackman throws a series of strikes that have Silva backpedaling.
Jackman lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Jab by Jackman. Jackman throws a series of punches but Silva avoids them all with ease. Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jackman swivels and escapes. Silva misses the jab. Jackman lands a two punch combo.
Good standup being displayed there by Jackman as he connects with a hook. Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Jackman, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Jackman against the cage but Jackman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Silva walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jackman scores with a one two! Silva had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Silva looks gassed! A jab from Jackman does it's job there. Jackman lands with a thumping leg kick.
Nate Jackman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Silva doesn't seem bothered though. Jackman cracks a nice hook into Silva's ribs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackman forces Silva back against the cage and clinches. Jackman breaks the clinch.
Silva takes a kick to the side of the head. Jackman scores with a sloppy right hand. Silva should have avoided that one.
Silva is rocked! Jackman rushes Silva and presses him up against the cage. Jackman lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Silva or not. Jackman lands a nice uppercut. Jackman taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Silva's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackman lands with a short shot to the head. Jackman leaning against his opponent.
Jackman breaks from the clinch.
Jackman throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range. Jackman cracks Silva with a good jab. Jackman slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Jackman drives through with a takedown into guard. Silva looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Jackman passes into side control.
Silva looks to move to half guard but instead Jackman has passed into mount! Damn! Jackman swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
