No joy there for LaRussa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
LaRussa doesn't manage to clinch there - Smith circles away.

Smith throws a hook but LaRussa blocks it.
Smith misses with a straight left.

A combination from LaRussa does no damage.
Smith lands with a hook. LaRussa tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Smith connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent LaRussa tumbling to the canvas! Smith pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! LaRussa was done - good stoppage!
