The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reinfeldt swings for the body but Edvard moves out of range.
Edvard fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reinfeldt drops Edvard with a nice combination! Reinfeldt dives into Edvard's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like Gunnar Edvard has been cut. Reinfeldt tries to stand but Edvard is controlling from the bottom. Reinfeldt won't allow Edvard to sweep him here. Reinfeldt postures up in Edvard's guard and throws a big left but Edvard blocks it. Edvard wants to sweep here but Reinfeldt controlling him for the moment. Reinfeldt postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Reinfeldt throws a strike but Edvard rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Edvard stops Reinfeldt from standing up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Edvard takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Edvard is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Edvard takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Edvard is still on wobbly legs! Can Reinfeldt finish him? Edvard looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Reinfeldt lands a nice looking body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Reinfeldt throws an uppercut from hell that sends Edvard clean off his feet! He's out cold! Reinfeldt stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bob Ross! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ross shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Malone as he jumps to the side. Ross closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Malone tries to improve position but can't. Ross tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ross has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ross misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Malone gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Malone tries to get to full guard but Ross has control of the leg. Malone missing with punches from the bottom.
Malone wants to control but Ross is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Malone uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ross has time to react.
It looks like Bob Ross has been cut. Ross shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malone is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Malone is working hard here to advance position. Malone wants to control but Ross is having none of it. Malone can't escape the position.
Malone slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Malone tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Ross seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Malone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ross prevents Malone from improving his position. Malone is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ross pulls his head out easily. Ross works his foot free and advances to mount. Ross goes for an armbar but Malone turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Malone. Ross is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Malone advances position into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Malone is looking to take a break and control but Ross is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Malone cracks Ross with an elbow. That is naaassty. Malone trying to control the position but Ross is working away. Ross taking a bit of punishment here - Malone scoring with strikes. Malone thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Malone goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ross rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Malone's guard! Nice work there by Ross! Malone is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ross thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Malone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ross is one step ahead there. Ross would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Malone striking off his back, scoring a few points. Malone looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ross wants to control from the top but Malone keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bo Malone dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bob Ross's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ross throws a right hand that Malone ducks under and follows up with a left that Malone also avoids with ease. Malone scores with a jab. Ross acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Malone gets the takedown into side control. Malone landing strikes. Check out the look on Malone's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That has opened up Bob Ross's cut even more. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Malone looking to control but instead Ross has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Malone thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ross's head. Malone is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Malone is trying to control the action in half guard but Ross is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ross is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Malone is pressing down on Ross's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ross is holding on for now. Ross wants to improve his position but Malone is controlling well.
Malone looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ross with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Malone missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Malone is trying to work for a kimura but Ross is defending well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ross wants to improve his position but Malone is controlling well.
Ross wants to get back to full guard but Malone has mounted him!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ross is trying desperately to improve position. Malone controlling the pace for now. Malone avoids the attempt from Ross to control. Malone fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The cut above Bob Ross's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bob Ross's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Silvia shoots in for a double leg but Smith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Smith avoids a punch combination nicely.
De Silvia has a takedown stuffed. De Silvia shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Smith's guard. Smith is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst De Silvia is controlling him. Smith pushes De Silvia off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Smith digs a good body shot into De Silvia's ribs. De Silvia is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith throws a nice looking combination but De Silvia bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Smith has closed the distance and engaged De Silvia in a clinch.
Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Smith looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Smith lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. De Silvia is looking to close the distance but Smith sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! De Silvia crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope De Silvia is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malinkovikh keeps the fight on the outside. Malinkovikh drops Karlsson with a beautiful combination! Karlsson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Malinkovikh is looking for the KO!
It looks like Marcus Karlsson has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Malinkovikh throws a right hand that Karlsson ducks under and follows up with a left that Karlsson also avoids with ease. Malinkovikh throws a nice looking combination but Karlsson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Karlsson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Karlsson looks gassed! Malinkovikh lands a left and a right that send Karlsson crashing to the mat, dazed. Malinkovikh thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Malinkovikh dances in with a quick combination. Karlsson is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Malinkovikh snaps Karlsson's head back. Karlsson stumbles backwards against the cage. Malinkovikh steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Karlsson's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Karlsson just didn't come prepared.

Killimo shoots for a takedown but Kirosawa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. No joy there for Kirosawa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Laamanen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Xu manages to avoid it. Laamanen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Xu. Xu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Laamanen circles away quickly and effectively. Xu shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Laamanen wants to get back to his feet. Xu wants to free his trapped foot but Laamanen is holding on for dear life with his legs. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Laamanen can do anything to dispel that myth. Laamanen is refusing to be controlled, as Xu sits in half guard.

Xu seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Xu missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Laamanen avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Xu. Laamanen pushes Xu off looking to stand but Xu dives back in and keeps control.
Xu slips a nice elbow through Laamanen's hands, connecting with Laamanen's forehead. Laamanen has one foot on Xu's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Xu throws a head kick that misses. Reijo Laamanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Xu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Laamanen looks gassed! Laamanen blocks a head kick by Xu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Laamanen misses with a two punch combination.
Laamanen throws a jab but it's blocked by Xu. Laamanen looks to throw the jab but Xu is out of range. Xu throws a head kick that misses. Xu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Laamanen's hands.
It looks like Reijo Laamanen has been cut. Xu blocks a head kick by Laamanen.
Xu walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Xu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Laamanen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Laamanen throws a leg kick that is checked and Xu counters with a nice double leg into side control. Laamanen won't be happy with that. This has been an exciting period of action! Xu tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Xu scoring with punches and elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Xu is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Laamanen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Laamanen is looking to get back to his feet here but Xu is keeping cool and he's managed to take Laamanen's back. Xu missing with strikes from the back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Xu throwing sloppy strikes. Laamanen is trying to get back to his feet but Xu has full control of the position and if anything, Laamanen has just worked his way into a worse spot. Laamanen finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes. Xu sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Laamanen is trying to stand up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Laamanen blocking the ground and pound. Laamanen is in a horrible position here. Xu smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Laamanen throws an overhand right that lands on Xu's shoulder, as Xu tries to avoid the shot. Xu takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Xu scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Laamanen tries to kick Xu off but Xu keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Xu wants to take a breather but Laamanen is having none of it. Xu prevents Laamanen from standing back up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Laamanen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Xu scores with a couple of nice shots. Xu drops an elbow to the side of Laamanen's head. Xu wants to take a breather but Laamanen is having none of it. Xu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Xu thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Xu seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Laamanen pushes Xu off looking to stand but Xu dives back in and keeps control.

Burns looks gassed! Jokinen lands a big right hand that sends Burns crashing to the mat! Jokinen stays standing though and waves Burns back to his feet! Burns is still on wobbly legs! Can Jokinen finish him? Jokinen is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Jokinen fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Burns square on the jaw! Damn, Burns is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
