 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lim tries to clinch but Mitchell is having none of it. Lim fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lim lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Lim lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Lim is looking to clinch.
Lim closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Lim. Mitchell tries to work over Lim's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Mitchell can't break the clinch.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Khalidov. St Pierre slaps away a takedown attempt from Khalidov, before circling back to the center of the mat. A head kick misses from Khalidov. Khalidov throws a sloppy head kick and St Pierre moves out of range easily. Khalidov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Khalidov shoots for a takedown but St Pierre saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Khalidov fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mamed Khalidov. That's going to take a lot out of him. St Pierre keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. St Pierre avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
St Pierre shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Khalidov's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

St Pierre drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and St Pierre jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. St Pierre slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

St Pierre has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Khalidov is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. St Pierre yanks on the arm and Khalidov is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by St Pierre.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kazuya showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Chan.
Kazuya drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kazuya trying to control the action but Chan is working from the bottom. Kazuya working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Chan tries to bench press Kazuya off him but Kazuya keeps the position. Chan is working hard here to advance position. What's Chan going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Chan wants to control but Kazuya postures up. Kazuya is staying tight to Chan's torso, preventing him from escaping.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A head kick misses from Kazuya.

and Kazuya decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Chan's guard. Kazuya with a flurry of punches that miss. Kazuya controls from within his opponent's guard. Kazuya trying to move into half guard but instead Chan has managed to sweep!
Kazuya is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chan defends well. Chan postures up in Kazuya's guard and throws a big left but Kazuya blocks it. Chan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Chan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Chan wants to control from the top but Kazuya keeps moving. Chan pushing down on Kazuya's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Chan is keen to just control but Kazuya is a slippery customer. Kazuya punching from the bottom.
Chan not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kazuya regains full guard. Nicely done.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan tries to free his leg and advance position but Kazuya is retaining full guard. Chan is breathing heavily. Chan postures up.

Kazuya throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Chan escapes and throws Kazuya's legs to the side, diving into side control! You can see the frustration on Kazuya's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chan controls the position from side control. Kazuya manages to work his way to half guard, despite Chan's best efforts. Kazuya works his way to full guard. Good work. Chan looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yoshi Kazuya dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Kazuya counters with a takedown into side control. Kazuya scores with a couple of short elbows. Kazuya throws an elbow but Chan slips to the side and avoids it well. Chan is lucky that one didn't land flush. Kazuya misses with a double jab.

Kazuya tries to clinch but fails miserably and Chan counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kazuya is lucky that one didn't land flush. Kazuya throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Chan's head. Chan tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Chan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kazuya.

And that's the end of the fight! Yoshi Kazuya comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kazuya has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Aoki drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Aoki seems to have locked his on tight now - Martinez screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Aoki, as he picks up the win!
