The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chuckle slips a jab and a cross from Matters.
Nice sprawl there from Matters as Chuckle shoots in. Matters misses with a low kick.
Chuckle tries to clinch up but Matters circles away and keeps his distance. Matters misses with a straight right. Matters throws a series of punches but Chuckle moves out of range. Chuckle takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Chuckle is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The referee warns Chuckle that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Masterson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Parker to the mat! Parker manages to get full guard. Parker looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Masterson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Masterson is tying to control. Parker wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Parker wants to improve his position but Masterson is controlling well.

But no, Parker has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Masterson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Masterson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Parker knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Parker for a finish. Parker is trying to get back to his feet but Masterson has full control of the position and if anything, Parker has just worked his way into a worse spot. Masterson controlling the position well here. Parker rolled but Masterson kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tep scores with a crisp jab that stopped Roo in his tracks. James Roo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Roo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Roo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tep pinned against the cage. Tep gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tep has Roo up against the cage in a clinch.

Roo has a couple of punches blocked by Tep.
Tep tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Roo smiles and moves away.
Roo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Tep throws a right hand that Roo ducks under and follows up with a left that Roo also avoids with ease. Roo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. The crowd cheers as Tep lands an impressive looking overhand right. Roo doesn't seem phased though. Tep gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Roo goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Tep trying to control the action but Roo is working from the bottom.

Naitou pushes off an throws an elbow but Wayne leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Wayne managing to block the knees to the body from Naitou.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Naitou is controlling an arm, preventing Wayne from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Wayne is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Naitou is forced to tap! Great finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva fails to land the takedown. Balboa closes the distance and clinches. Balboa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva. Horrible takedown by Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Balboa which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva shoots for a takedown but Balboa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva shoots in but Balboa avoids the takedown attempt easily. Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Balboa trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Balboa wants to stand and escape but instead Silva has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Balboa is trying to hold Silva in close to prevent damage but Silva has managed to pass into half guard.
