2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aychtoo Bizzle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sami Assasi! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bizzle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Assasi swats him away and circles back towards the center. Assasi darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A slow jab from Assasi misses its intended target. Bizzle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Assasi waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bizzle. Assasi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Assasi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bizzle is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bizzle trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Assasi is in the full mount, landing strikes. Bizzle tries to buck Assasi off but he can't manage it. Assasi working Bizzle over with strikes here. Assasi raining down shots from the mount! Assasi scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Assasi lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bizzle hang on? Assasi wants to finish this one by submission but Bizzle is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Assasi. You get the feeling that Bizzle really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Assasi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bizzle is now in Assasi's guard. A big mistake from Assasi there, giving up the dominant position! Bizzle wants to get up but he can't break Assasi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Assasi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bizzle's guard. Bizzle scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Assasi closes the distance and clinches up with Bizzle, looking for a takedown. Assasi pushes Bizzle against the cage but Bizzle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bizzle displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Assasi throws out the jab. Assasi misses with a double jab
and Bizzle holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bizzle throws a knee to the head but misses.
Bizzle blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Bizzle looks to throw an elbow but misses. Assasi lands a knee to the body.
Assasi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Assasi misses with a body shot.
Bizzle slips a jab from Assasi. Assasi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bizzle counters with a head kick. Assasi lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Assasi. Assasi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Assasi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bizzle is looking to escape. Assasi keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Bizzle looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bizzle is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Assasi scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Assasi lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Assasi working over Bizzle with some ground and pound. Bizzle looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bizzle tries to kick Assasi off but Assasi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Assasi moves nicely into side control. Assasi cracks Bizzle with a big right hand but Bizzle just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Assasi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bizzle keeps working. Bizzle is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Assasi is controlling him well. Assasi trying to control the action but Bizzle is working from the bottom. Assasi working the body and head with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Assasi scoring with punches and elbows. Bizzle on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Bizzle is pushing Assasi's head away, looking to escape. Assasi manages to hold on to the position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Assasi lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Bizzle is rocked! Assasi lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Oh Bizzle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bizzle tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Bizzle looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Bizzle seems to have got his legs back now. Assasi has got one arm under Bizzle's chin. This could be trouble... Bizzle trying to control the other hand but Assasi gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Bizzle has tapped out! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wasabi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wasabi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blackrebel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blackrebel manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wasabi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Blackrebel manages to get himself to full guard.
Blackrebel is looking for a triangle but Wasabi pushes his legs off easily.
Wasabi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wasabi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wasabi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Wasabi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Wasabi tries to free his leg and advance position but Blackrebel is retaining full guard. Wasabi passes Blackrebel's left leg - he's now in half guard. Wasabi seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Blackrebel gets full guard. Blackrebel is trying to keep Wasabi in close.
Blackrebel throws his legs up looking for a submission but Wasabi uses it to pass to side control.
Wasabi working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Blackrebel is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wasabi off and has taken his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. I really don't envy Wasabi right now.
Blackrebel is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Wasabi defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Even with his hooks in, Blackrebel manages to miss with strikes from the back. Blackrebel misses with an elbow to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Blackrebel is trying to stick to Wasabi's back but Wasabi is turning into Blackrebel. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Blackrebel's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Wasabi. Blackrebel trying to control the position.
Wasabi drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Wasabi seems to have locked his on tight now - Blackrebel screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Wasabi, as he picks up the win!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slice throws a nice head kick!
Thomas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Slice as he avoids it easily. Slice rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thomas moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Thomas avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kimbo Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slice throws a series of punches but Thomas moves out of range. Slice swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A combination from Slice does no damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slice tries to bum rush Thomas with a series of wild strikes but Thomas uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Thomas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Slice tries to avoid it but Thomas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Slice to the ground. Slice escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Slice throws a series of punches but Thomas moves out of range. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Slice - that will leave a mark!
That's one minute gone in the round. Slice stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Slice will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No joy there for Slice, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Slice misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Slice avoids the body shot from Thomas.
Slice tries to bum rush Thomas with a series of wild strikes but Thomas uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Slice looks to land a combination but Thomas avoids it well. Slice cracks Thomas with an open hand slap. Thomas takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slice connects with a looping right hand.
Thomas misses with a wild body shot. Slice misses with a jab, cross combination.
Good standup being displayed there by Slice as he connects with a hook. Slice scores with a jab. Thomas acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Slice swinging wilding here.
Horrible takedown by Thomas or perhaps it was just good defense by Slice which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TJ Thomas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Slice fails to land with a series of punches.

Kimbo Slice is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Thomas swings and misses with a shot to the body and Slice counters with a three punch combo that has Thomas backing up. Thomas nods at Slice to acknowledge the strikes. Slice misses with a series of wild punches.
Slice throws a nice looking combination but Thomas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Slice plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Slice throws a right hand that Thomas ducks under and follows up with a left that Thomas also avoids with ease. Slice displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thomas throws out the jab. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slice misses with a jab, cross combination.
Thomas misses with a shot to the body and Slice counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kimbo Slice dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Slice thuds a left hand into Thomas's body. Thomas on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Thomas takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Slice throws a series of punches but Thomas avoids them all with ease. Thomas tries for a takedown but Slice sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Slice works over Thomas's head and body with a nice combination.

A decent looking cross lands there for Slice. Slice closes the distance and lands a one-two. Slice misses with a few strikes there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Thomas with a lazy takedown attempt and Slice counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Thomas is lucky that one didn't land flush. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Slice steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thomas. Slice misses with a two punch combination.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Slice. Thomas shrugs it off though. Slice is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Thomas drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Slice throws a right and a left that both miss. Slice lands a nice looking body shot.

and Slice finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Slice fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Thomas on the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Thomas to the ground! Slice dives into full mount looking to finish! Slice stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Slice scores with a punch to the head. Thomas misses with a body shot.
Kimbo Slice seems to be getting the better of the standup. Slice scores with a body shot.
Slice has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Slice lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thomas circles away quickly and effectively. Thomas sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Kimbo Slice is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters circle, before Slice throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Thomas's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Slice lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clark moves into range and connects with a jab. Clark jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Clark lands a body shot.
Jackon rushes Clark and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Jackon tries to pull guard but Clark holds him up against the cage and eventually Jackon drops back down to his feet.

A frustrated look appears on Clark's face as he tries to break the clinch. Clark is looking to break free of the clinch but Jackon has double underhooks. Jackon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Clark avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Jackon turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jackon manages to end up in side control. Clark tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jackon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Clark wants to get back to his feet. Clark is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Clark wants to get back to full guard. Jackon blocks the strikes from Clark.
Clark holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Clark looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackon is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Clark looking for submissions off his back. Clark gets full guard. Clark preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Clark throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Clark is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Clark looks gassed! Clark is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Clark preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jackon stops Clark from standing up. Clark lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jackon! Jackon tries to reverse the position but Clark maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark looking to control but Jackon is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Clark prevents Jackon from getting the reversal. Jackon regains half guard. Clark is thwarting Jackon's attempts to control the position. Clark throwing shots but Jackon is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Clark thows a huge punch but Jackon dodges it nicely.
Clark thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Jackon to regain full guard. Clark missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Clark with a flurry of punches that miss. Jackon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Clark is aware though and is defending well. Jackon looking to control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Clark darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Clark stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Jackon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackon takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Clark comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Clark dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jackon takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Jab, jab by Clark - just one landing. Clark throws a right and a left that both miss. Clark scores with a decent looking hook. Clark stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Clark wants it to stay on the feet. Bobby Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Clark throws a series of punches but Jackon avoids them all with ease. Clark goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Clark punishes Jackon's body with a nice straight punch. Clark lands a left and a right that send Jackon crashing to the mat, dazed. Clark thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Tyson Jackon has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Clark misses with a few strikes there.
Oh Jackon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Clark drops Jackon with a straight right hand, right on the button! Clark follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Griffin. Griffin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Griffin tries for a takedown but Dugre sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Chris Dugre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Griffin. Griffin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dugre as he jumps to the side. Griffin tries to clinch but Dugre moves out of range. The fight moves into the clinch position. Griffin has Dugre pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dugre manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dugre, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Law misses with an uppercut. Murdock saw that one coming. Murdock jabbing away but nothing is landing. A combination from Law does no damage. The fight stays on the outside here - Law looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Murdock throws a hook to the side of Law's head but Law sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Law moves in looking to clinch but Murdock pushes him off.

Duenas thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Monroe gets back to half guard.
