Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnson Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LeMac Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitchell comes to the cage accompanied by Ice Ice baby. Red is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by shimmy she wobble. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that LeMac Red was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Red rushes Mitchell and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Red wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Mitchell manages to break the clinch.
Mitchell tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Red moves into the clinch.
Mitchell fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Mitchell wants to break free but Red has control.
Mitchell throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Red breaks the clinch.
Red closes the distance but Mitchell moves to the side

and Mitchell counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Red's guard now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Red wants to improve his position but instead Mitchell has moved into half guard.
Red keeps control of the position for the meantime.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maxwell throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rah on the side of the head.

Gordon Maxwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maxwell takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
