 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! tope circles away from the clinch attempt.
Daley is looking to take this fight into the clinch. tope fails with a takedown attempt. Daley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Daley misses with a takedown attempt
and tope counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Daley's guard now. Daley looking to control.

Daley has left one of his arms exposed and tope doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Daley screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Fernandez tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - OWN cranks the arm and Fernandez screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fernandez, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Abbey! Flash gets back to half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Abbey throws a right hand that Flash ducks under and follows up with a left that Flash also avoids with ease. Abbey throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Abbey misses with a hook. Flash ducked under it nicely.

Flash darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Flash content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Flash is looking to take a break and control but Abbey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

 That's eight minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wesker controlling from mount. Wesker has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Average is trying desperately to improve position.
