The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wave shoots in for a takedown but Tretiak shows good takedown defense.

Tretiak feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jebediah Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Mica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed's entrance music is Eighties. A fine choice. Jebediah Reed had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 266.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Thomas Mica is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Taylor throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Taylor throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Merde.

Merde takes a head kick and keeps coming.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dumonte dodges the punch combination from Levrone.
Dumonte bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Dumonte feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Levrone's calf.
Good leg kick by Dumonte there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dumonte throws a leg kick which misses Levrone's front leg but catches the back leg as Levrone tries to avoid it.
Levrone looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dumonte lunges at Levrone with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Levrone's hand.
A punch combination from Dumonte misses.
Dumonte tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Dumonte throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dumonte digs a good body shot into Levrone's ribs.
Dumonte connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Dumonte wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Levrone moves out of range as Dumonte throws a body kick.
Dumonte throws a combination that misses
and Levrone counters with a nice uppercut.
Dumonte lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Good shot there by Dumonte.
Dumonte misses with a head kick.
Levrone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dumonte moves away.
Levrone slips under a jab.
Levrone throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dumonte counters with a straight right hand.

Levrone is rocked!

Dumonte drops Levrone with a huge uppercut! Levrone drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Dumonte is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
