2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matti Koskela! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brettzky waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Koskela. Koskela throws a head kick that misses.
Brettzky drops Koskela with a nice combination! Brettzky dives into Koskela's guard, looking to finish!
 Koskela is rocked!
 It looks like Matti Koskela has been cut. Brettzky will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. This has been an exciting period of action! Brettzky throwing strikes but missing. Koskela is still in real trouble! Can Brettzky finish him? Brettzky is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Koskela seems to have recovered his senses. Koskela working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brettzky. Brettzky is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Brettzky seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Koskela for as long as he can get away with. Koskela wants to stand but Brettzky is controlling the position.

Koskela is working an open guard so Brettzky takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Brettzky shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Koskela napping and manages to drive through into side control! Brettzky scores with punches from side control. Koskela looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brettzky thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Koskela is trying to escape the position but Brettzky is controlling the position.

Brettzky moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Brettzky throws a series of strikes that have Koskela backpedaling.
This has been an exciting period of action! Brettzky shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Koskela sprawls well. Koskela wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brettzky gets slowly back to his feet. Koskela throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brettzky closes the distance and clinches. The referee is keeping an eye on Brettzky - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Koskela tries to break free but Brettzky pushes him back against the cage. Koskela is trying to break the clinch but Brettzky is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brettzky decides to return to a standing position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wayne Brettzky is winning the standup battle so far. The fight stays on the outside here - Brettzky looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A jab from Brettzky does it's job there. Koskela looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Brettzky throws a right and a left that Koskela avoids nicely. Koskela throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Brettzky closes the distance and pushes Koskela back into the cage. Brettzky wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Brettzky's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brettzky lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Koskela checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Brettzky forces Koskela back against the cage and clinches. Koskela tries to land a knee to the head but Brettzky blocks with his arms.
Brettzky is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Koskela can do to turn this around? The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Koskela working hard to break the clinch. Brettzky misses with an elbow strike.
Brettzky is struggling to control the position. Brettzky drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Koskela gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Brettzky throws a head kick that misses and Koskela makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Koskela lands a head kick. Brettzky smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Koskela moves in looking to clinch but Brettzky pushes him off. Brettzky fails to land the takedown. Koskela fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Brettzky counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Koskela! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brettzky tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Brettzky's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Matti Koskela has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Brettzky has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
 The referee stands the fighters back up. Wayne Brettzky just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Brettzky connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Wayne Brettzky is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Akergaard is trying to drag Seppuuken to the mat but Seppuuken just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A frustrated look appears on Seppuuken's face as he tries to break the clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Akergaard.

Seppuuken is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Akergaard with a knee to the head.
Akergaard turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee asks Akergaard politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Akergaard prefers to stall for the moment though.

Saha lands a left and a right that send McFat crashing to the mat, dazed. Saha thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
 McFat is rocked! Saha throws a predictable looking body shot
so McFat counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Oh McFat is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Saha trying to keep a closed guard but McFat is proving a slippery customer.
McFat seems to have got his legs back now. Saha is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McFat is controlling him. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Saha can do anything to dispel that myth. McFat pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Saha is keeping the position for now. McFat throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Saha avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Saha pulls McFat in close to prevent any damage. McFat stopping the sweep attempt from Saha. McFat trying to control the position from guard on top but Saha is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Saha lands a with a good body shot. McFat throws a shot from downtown. Saha moves away and avoids it. Saha misses with a double jab
and McFat counters with a nice double leg into guard. McFat advances to half guard. McFat has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Saha trying to get back to full guard but McFat takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! McFat landing strikes from the mount and Saha is in trouble!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Saha wants to hold on but McFat pushes him away. A nice elbow there by McFat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Saha's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
McFat has hold of Saha's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Saha manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
A nice elbow there by McFat. Saha is trying desperately to improve position. McFat can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Saha is looking to escape. McFat is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Saha can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Saha tries to hold on but McFat pushes him away.
McFat looking for a guillotine from mount but Saha is having none of it. Saha is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Saha is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
McFat throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Saha throwing hammer fists to the chest of McFat. What's that going to do exactly?
McFat working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Saha turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips McFat off and cradles Saha's limp body as McFat celebrates with his corner.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! International listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Nice jab there from International. International stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and International wants it to stay on the feet. International digs a good body shot into Surma's ribs. Surma fails with a takedown attempt. International dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nice uppercut lands for International. That snapped Surma's head back.
International throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Surma looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Travis International has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Surma. Surma closes the distance and clinches up with International, looking for a takedown. Surma pushes International against the cage but International circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Surma wants to clinch up but International keeps it at a distance. International tests Surma's chin there with a solid looking shot.

International avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Surma jumps guard but International stands there with Surma around his waist. Surma gives up and drops back to his feet.  Surma is rocked! Surma takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Surma is still on wobbly legs! Can International finish him? International tries to land a front kick but Surma steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Surma seems to have recovered his senses. International connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. International scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Surma seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. International shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Surma is backing up but International catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Surma covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! International Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mark Tomb! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tomb bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Tomb tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sorsa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tomb somewhat. Tomb is looking to clinch but Sorsa is avoiding it.
Tomb swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sorsa scores with a punch to the head.
 It looks like Mark Tomb has been cut. Tomb tries to clinch up.
Sorsa gets a takedown into half guard.
Tomb actively working from the bottom here. Tomb wants to get back to full guard but Sorsa has passed into side control. Sorsa looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

 Tomb is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sorsa controlling the position easily from mount. Tomb can't escape the position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sorsa punishing his opponent with strikes. Tomb is still in real trouble! Can Sorsa finish him? Sorsa lands with some strikes. Sorsa postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Tomb out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Sorsa goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sean Crane! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crane takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hope has managed to clinch.
Crane tries to pull guard but Hope won't allow it.
Hope's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hope scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crane walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Crane scores with a takedown into Hope's guard. Crane won't allow Hope to get back to his feet. Crane is looking to work some ground and pound but Hope has wrist control. Hope working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Crane. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crane loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Crane thows a big elbow that misses. Crane has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Crane throws and elbow that misses. Hope uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Crane's guard. Nice move by Hope! Crane wants to improve his position but instead Hope has moved into half guard.
Hope will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Crane moves into full guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Crane wants to sweep but no luck. Crane is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Crane looks gassed!
Hope gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Hope lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Crane gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hope moves into range and clinches up with Crane. Hope is pressed up against the cage. Crane has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hope down to the mat. Hope avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Hope moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hope stalks Crane and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Crane's face. Crane staggers backwards, shaken.
 It looks like Sean Crane has been cut.
Hope drops Crane with a beautiful combination! Crane stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hope is looking for the KO! Hope lands with a right and another and another! Crane is in big trouble! Hope lands again and this time it's lights out for Crane! A quality knockout there for Hope.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lukottaja wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Lasse Lukottaja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lukottaja bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lukottaja drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Matikainen pulls Lukottaja in to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Matikainen throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Lukottaja postures up.
Lukottaja wants to control from the top but Matikainen keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lukottaja accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lukottaja stops Matikainen from standing up. Matikainen being controlled here, momentarily.
Lukottaja stands up from guard. Let's bang! Matikainen misses with a hook. Matikainen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lukottaja is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Matikainen's half guard. Lukottaja working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Lukottaja trying to control from half guard but Matikainen is working away. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Matikainen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lukottaja is taking a breather. Matikainen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Let's hope that Lukottaja has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Lukottaja wants to work for an arm triangle but Matikainen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Matikainen tries to get to full guard but Lukottaja has control of the leg. Lukottaja trying to control the action but Matikainen is working from the bottom. Lukottaja passes the guard and advances to mount! Matikainen tries to reverse the position but Lukottaja maintains control.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lukottaja controlling from the full mount. Lukottaja trying to control but Matikainen is having none of it. Lukottaja controlling from the full mount. Matikainen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lukottaja on the ground. Lukottaja landing punches. Lukottaja dominating with strikes here. Matikainen is wriggling around trying to escape.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Lukottaja trying to control but Matikainen is having none of it. Matikainen is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lukottaja is landing with some decent strikes but Matikainen is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Lukottaja scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Matikainen?
Matikainen is looking to improve his position but Lukottaja isn't that keen on the idea. Lukottaja controlling from the full mount. Matikainen is desperately trying to improve his position but Lukottaja has a good base and remains in mount. Matikainen is breathing heavily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lukottaja controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lasse Lukottaja dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Dragunov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Dragunov advances to full mount.
Dragunov is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Dragunov extends the arm and Ratila is forced to tap!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stewert avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Stewert closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Vera is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Stewert is taking a breather. Vera says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Stewert is keen to just control but Vera is a slippery customer. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vera is trying to maintain the position but Stewert is very close to passing his half guard. Vera might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Stewert kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Vera gets full guard. Vera is trying to control the position but Stewert postures up. Stewert is stalling in the full guard.

Stewert drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Vera dives on top into guard.
Stewert looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Vera stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Stewert has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Vera manages to get his head free but now Stewert has transitioned to an armbar! Vera grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Stewert! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Iso Susi! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Susi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reki but Reki pushes him off and we're back to square one. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Susi is defended easily by Reki. Reki is looking to clinch. Iso Susi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Susi connects with a right hand. Reki shakes it off. Reki stuffs the takedown. Kimmo Reki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iso Susi. Susi fails with a takedown attempt.
Susi scores a takedown into full mount! Susi misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Susi is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Reki is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Reki flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Susi anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Reki and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Susi slips an arm under Reki chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Susi has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Susi is squeezing on Reki like an anaconda would it's prey. Reki fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
