3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Corey Thompson! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Layne's corner calls for a 1-2. Layne obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Thompson wants to land a leg kick but Layne is out of range. Thompson misses with a wild combination.

Thompson connects with a solid leg kick. Thompson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Layne scores with a jab. Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Koji Okano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clint Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Okano comes to the cage accompanied by Aalto - Resolution. Sullivan has chosen The Beast as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Clint Sullivan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
