The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urso shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Surfer but Surfer pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Surfer lands a left and a right that send Urso crashing to the mat, dazed. Surfer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Urso is rocked!

It looks like Rocco Urso has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Surfer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Urso.
Urso is still on wobbly legs! Can Surfer finish him?
Surfer throws a right and a left that both miss.

Urso seems to have recovered his senses.

Oswalt kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Country Boy can Survive. Boudreaux has chosen The Prince as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Boudreaux uses his free foot to push down on Oswalt's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Oswalt.

Boudreaux is working for a guillotine from mount but Oswalt frees his head quite easily.
Oswalt wants to hold on but Boudreaux pushes him away.

Boudreaux has control of Oswalt's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Oswalt regains control of the situation pretty easily.
