The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Umlaut's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Umlaut duly obliges. Umlaut looks to land a left hand but Brighton moved out of range nicely. Billy Brighton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brighton seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Umlaut shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Brighton is backing up but Umlaut catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Brighton covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Umlaut Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Randlepex misses with a hook. Porter ducked under it nicely. Porter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Porter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Porter wants it to stay on the feet. Randlepex tries to clinch but Porter is having none of it. Porter defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Randlepex. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Randlepex. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Randlepex. Randlepex ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Porter scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Kevin Randlepex has been cut. Porter throws out a powerful jab. Nice sprawl there from Porter as Randlepex shoots in. Porter stuffs the takedown. Randlepex is breathing heavily. Randlepex moves in looking to clinch but Porter pushes him off. Randlepex gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Randlepex has a takedown stuffed. Porter misses with a straight left. Porter scores with a nice right hand.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Esmael Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean True (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ali comes to the cage accompanied by Toxicity. True comes into a darkened arena with his song building. None kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Esmael Ali had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Sean True told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! True displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ali. Nice sprawl there from True as Ali shoots in. True leaves Ali with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Esmael Ali. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ali shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in True's guard. True looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ali slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. True is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ali's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. True manages to get to full guard.
Ali thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Ali wants to pass the guard but True is keeping the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now True is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. True drops back looking for a leg! Ali is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ali manages to kick True off! True jumps back into Ali's guard. Ali has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but True can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ali is breathing heavily. True drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. True seems to have locked his on tight now - Ali screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for True, as he picks up the win!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Diamond. A nice inside leg kick there by Slender. That's going to slow Diamond down. Diamond needs to keep his hands up - Slender had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Rick Diamond has been cut. Slender explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. A jab lands there for Slender. Diamond misses with a takedown attempt - Slender sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Diamond tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Slender swivels and escapes. Diamond dodges the punch combination from Slender.
Diamond fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Diamond. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Diamond tries for a takedown but Slender sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Diamond is breathing heavily. Slender wants to clinch. Slender dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Diamond. That did some damage! Diamond swats away the attempt to clinch by Slender. Slender closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slender's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Slender thumps Diamond with a low kick. Slender lands with a right hand. Slender throws a right and a left that both miss. Diamond steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Slender. That one must have hurt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Diamond chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Slender can pounce on him.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Diamond. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Diamond dodges the punch combination from Slender.
King Slender seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slender fails in his attempt to clinch. Slender throws a good cross that connects.
Slender lands a big head kick that sends Diamond tumbling to the mat! Slender takes a step backwards and waves Diamond back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Rick Diamond's cut is getting worse. Slender lands a nice leg kick that just misses Diamond's sensitive parts. Oh Diamond is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! King Slender is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Slender ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Slender scores with a hook to the body. Diamond takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Diamond seems to have got his legs back now. Slender tries to bum rush Diamond with a series of wild strikes but Diamond uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Slender scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. A jab from Slender finds it's way through Diamond's defenses.
Rick Diamond's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slender lands with a shot to the body. Diamond on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Slender. Slender obviously looking to wear him down.
A head kick misses from Slender. Slender thumps Diamond with a low kick. Slender connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Diamond tumbling to the canvas! Slender pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Diamond was done - good stoppage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson moves into the clinch. Harfagri misses with an elbow over the top. Harfagri jumps guard but Anderson stands there with Harfagri around his waist. Harfagri gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Anderson lands a hook to the side of the head. Harfagri tries for a takedown. No joy.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Harfagri just misses with a elbow thrown towards Anderson's brow. Harfagri tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Harfagri blocking some punches.

Edwards walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Edwards darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Edwards just misses with a punch to the body.
Ahma thows a body shot but no joy. Edwards thows a body shot but no joy. Ahma ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Edwards moves away. Ahma lands a nice hook to Edwards's body. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Peto crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Peikkola - the referee stops the clock and Peto gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Peikkola. Peto manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
