The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Damascus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. McGruder takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Damascus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McGruder paws at him with a jab and circles away. McGruder decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. McGruder scores with a couple of good hammerfists. McGruder working Damascus over with strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Damascus makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! No luck for McGruder with that takedown attempt. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! T throws a hook to the side of Hopachi's head but Hopachi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. T misses with a straight left. Hopachi is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
T slips a straight right by Hopachi. T scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Apachi Hopachi has been cut. T blocks a jab. Hopachi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. T drops Hopachi with a nice combination! T dives into Hopachi's guard, looking to finish!
Hopachi is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hopachi has a closed guard, preventing T from standing up. Hopachi is still in real trouble! Can T finish him? Hopachi seems to have recovered his senses. T stands and steps away. Hopachi gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Hopachi throws a body punch but T moves out of range. T lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hopachi backs up against the cage.

That's better than Parker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Thomas defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Parker. Parker get's back to his feet. Parker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thomas. Parker throws the left hand but Thomas avoids the punch easily. Parker loads up on a big right hand but Thomas slips the punch. Parker on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
