0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Greko Roman! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mode swinging wilding here.
Mode throws a right hand that Roman ducks under and follows up with a left that Roman also avoids with ease. Mode misses with the combination.
Mode connects with a nice looking jab.
 It looks like Greko Roman has been cut. Mode throws a nice looking combination but Roman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Roman shoots in but no luck this time. Mode looks to land a combination but Roman avoids it well. Roman fails with the takedown.
Roman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mode, pushing him back against the cage. Mode wants to get back to striking at distance but Roman won't allow it.
Mode scores with a nice hook to the head. Mode wants to get back to striking at distance but Roman won't allow it.
Roman lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mode backwards. Roman has Mode pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mode manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Beast Mode has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greko Roman. Roman tries to pull guard but Mode won't allow it.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Mode is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Roman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mode gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Mode digs a right hand underneath Roman's ribcage. Roman let out a lung full of air as it connected. A head punch on the inside from Mode fails to land.

Roman is pulling down on Mode's head to control his posture. Mode trying to control but Roman is working from the bottom. Roman wants to sweep but no luck. Roman should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Mode prevents Roman from getting back to his feet. Mode not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Roman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Roman has Mode pulled in close to control his posture. Roman looks gassed!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Mode throws a big right hand that misses.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mode throws a combination. Roman tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Mode lands with an overhand left. Mode fails with the takedown
and Roman counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mode! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mode tries to hold on but Roman pushes him away. Roman with a couple of short strikes.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Roman with the ground and pound from mount. Roman scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Mode?
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Roman tries to control but Mode wriggling away. Mode taking shots to the head. Roman unloading with bombs! Roman working the ground and pound effectively.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Roman lands a big shot there that rocks Mode but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Beast Mode will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Greko Roman's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Roman throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Mode because Roman loaded up on that one. Roman lands a nice shot to the head. Mode in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Roman throws some wild stikes that Mode manages to avoid easily.
Roman breaks from Mode's wrist control and lands an elbow. Roman trying to control but he's not successful this time. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Mode wants to control but Roman is having none of it. Roman controlling from the full mount. A nice elbow there by Roman. Roman punishing his opponent with strikes.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Roman punishing his opponent with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You get the feeling that Mode really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Roman with shots to the head and body - Mode looks very uncomfortable down there. Roman looking to finish Mode with some ground and pound. This is bad for Mode!  That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Roman landing strikes from the mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. BOOM! Roman connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Mode tries to hold on but Roman postures up. Mode is in a horrible position here. Roman smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Roman pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Roman working away from the top, dropping strikes. Roman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Roman smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Roman landing strikes from the mount. Roman cracks Mode with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Mode tries to hold on but Roman postures up. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Roman has eaten all the pies! Roman with good strikes from the mount here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Roman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
A nice elbow there by Roman.
And that's the end of the fight! Greko Roman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Roman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junior looks for the body kick but Fire saw that one coming. Fire with a hook. A good leg kick by Junior. Fire pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fire throws a head kick but Junior moves out of range.
Junior slips under a jab. Fire chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Junior can pounce on him.
A head kick misses from Fire. Fire has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fire there as he acknowledges the shot. Fire tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Fire bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Junior moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Fire lands a lovely overhand right. Fire tries a head kick but it misses.
Junior scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Junior swings for the body but Fire moves out of range.
Junior listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. TJ Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fire throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Fire pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Junior stalks Fire and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fire's face. Fire staggers backwards, shaken. Fire throws the left hand but Junior avoids the punch easily. Junior cracks Fire with an open hand slap. Fire scores with a leg kick.

Junior lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Junior looks to land a right hand but Fire moved out of range. Junior lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fire circles away quickly and effectively. Fire takes a body punch but keeps moving. Junior is looking to slow Fire down with leg kicks. Junior scores with a one two! Fire had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. A left and a right from Junior both land. Nice combination.
 Fire is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Junior attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Junior connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fire's hands. Oh Fire is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Junior has cracked Fire with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Junior lands another huge swinging hook and Fire tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Fire, before Junior can land any more shots!

Sutherland scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Hawkins looks gassed!

Andre Galvao dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

S looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. S tries to stand but can't do so whilst Galvao controls his leg. Galvao trying to control here.
S is looking for a kimura but Galvao is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for S to get the leverage. Galvao has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. S is working away from the top position though. Galvao gets back to full guard.

Oh but Galvao is tightening it up a little... S has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! S reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! S taps out! nice BJJ there by Galvao!

Kain tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but walcott paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kain throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Crunch! Kain slams his shin into walcott's torso. walcott is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Kain fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with walcott, pushing him back against the cage. walcott tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kain smiles and moves away.

Kain plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Some bone on bone action there as walcott checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kain doesn't manage to clinch there - walcott circles away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kain displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from walcott. Kain lands a head kick. walcott smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moon tries for a takedown but Zappa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Zappa wants to clinch. Moon closes the distance and clinches up with Zappa, looking for a takedown. Moon pushes Zappa against the cage but Zappa circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Zappa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Moon's guard. Zappa trying to control but Moon is working from the bottom.  That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Salvatore will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Connor lunges at Salvatore with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Salvatore's hand. Connor tries to land a leg kick but Salvatore saw it coming and moves away.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. That was a close round but KooK Connor did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it. The cut man is working on Stefan Salvatore's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
