The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamilele shoots in and drives through. Ribeiro sprawls well.

Mamilele loads up on a big left hand. Ribeiro felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mamilele looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Ribeiro can't hide his disappointment, as Mamilele celebrates the victory.

Scoop steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Stevens.
Stevens looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Scoop will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Scoop is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stevens is just riding it out for now. Scoop eventually gives up the hold.

Scoop is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Stevens!
BOOM! Scoop connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Jack wants to hold on but Slice pushes him away.

Slice controlling the position easily from mount.
Jack is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Slice tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Let's hope that Slice has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Jack is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Slice sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

John Slice dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Slice has his takedown stuffed

and Jack counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jack wants to stand and escape but instead Slice has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Slice wants to control from the top but Jack keeps moving.

Despite being in the dominant position, John Slice just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Slice scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Slice in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Jack is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
