The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chris Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maltive shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Gracie has his foot on Maltive's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Maltive works his way back into a safe position though. Gracie is looking for a triangle but Maltive pushes his legs off easily.

Maltive's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Maltive swings for the body but Gracie moves out of range.
Maltive lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gracie's sensitive parts. Gracie takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Maltive closes the distance and pushes Gracie back into the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Gracie takes a knee right on the jaw!

Maltive tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Maltive has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Maltive lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Gracie down.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Itoshiki fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Diesel. Diesel misses the jab. Diesel throws a lazy right hand but Itoshiki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nice defenses there by Itoshiki. Itoshiki throws a nice outside leg kick. Diesel thows a body shot but no joy. Itoshiki moves out of range as Diesel strikes. Itoshiki looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
