The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from mawal. No joy there for mawal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dary lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Dary shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches mawal napping and manages to drive through into side control! Dary is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down mawal's shoulder. That is not cool. mawal is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on mawal's face as Dary controls the position.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Dary throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Mcfillin can't do much from the bottom here. Mcfillin is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Van Sperr wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mcfillin, who protects the arm well. Joe Rich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Rich. Rich closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mr X circles away. Mr X circles away from the clinch attempt.

Rich really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mr X. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mr X in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Mr X lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rich down.
Rich tries to improve position but can't. Mr X has an Americana. Rich didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mr X is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mr X hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Schembri clobbers Davids with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Schembri lands a big head kick that sends Davids tumbling to the mat! Schembri takes a step backwards and waves Davids back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Davids is rocked! Schembri scores with a jab to the body. Oh Davids is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! Schembri lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Davids crumples to the floor! Schembri milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Barbossa feints and as Hawkins raises his hands in defense, Barbossa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Barbossa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barbossa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hawkins is trying to control the position but Barbossa postures up. Hawkins keeping moving, preventing Barbossa from controlling successfully. Hawkins pulls Barbossa in close to prevent any damage. Hawkins is looking to stand up but Barbossa isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hawkins looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Barbossa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. That was a close second round but I would say that Hector Barbossa will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Maas has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Anjill is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Anjill tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Maas just stands there and leans against the cage. Anjill creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Maas's defenses. Maas drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Sousa acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Sousa moves into the clinch. Sousa using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jones has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
