The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatmake shoots in looking for a takedown. Brown tries to sprawl out of it but Hatmake keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brown manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hatmake shoots in and drives through. Brown sprawls well.
Brown displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hatmake.

Hatmake feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Michaels tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Guti was well out of range. Poor timing from Michaels.
Michaels tries to bum rush Guti with a series of wild strikes but Guti uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Song isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jones stacks Song on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jones!

Jones stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Song shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jones napping and manages to drive through into side control!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

London lands a nice hook to Bubbles's body. Bubbles takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

London throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bubbles was covering up waiting for the punch and London finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcus London will probably get the nod.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Bubbles lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

London throws out a leg kick but Bubbles moves out of range and London only half commits.
Bubbles keeps the fight on the outside.

Bubbles slips under a jab.
Bubbles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Horrible takedown by London or perhaps it was just good defense by Bubbles which made him look bad.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bubbles avoids the head kick by London.

Mitchell throws a right and a left that both miss.
