1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Reed! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! strike closes the distance and pushes Reed back into the cage. strike manages to pull guard.
Reed got a little sloppy there for a moment and strike has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Reed has managed to get both his arms back between strike's legs - danger averted. Reed slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Reed trying to control but strike is working from the bottom. strike working for submissions but it's allowed Reed to get to half guard.

Reed really doesn't want to stay on the ground with strike. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Reed is keen to just control but strike is a slippery customer. Reed wants to stand up but strike is controlling the position.

It looks like mark strike has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fight moves into the clinch position. Reed breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Reed looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Reed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around strike's waist but strike gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reed off to one side. strike stuffs the takedown. strike circles away from the clinch attempt.

Reed has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. strike is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. strike blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Reed is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. strike tries to pull guard but Reed holds him up against the cage and eventually strike drops back down to his feet.

Reed lands a nice looking kick to the body. strike takes a step back to recover. Reed throws a head kick that strike semi-blocks.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from strike. strike tries to keep at a distance but Reed has taken the fight into the clinch. strike breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Reed tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Reed rushes strike and presses him up against the cage. strike gets underhooks to prevent Reed's takedown attempt.
strike jumps guard but Reed stands there with strike around his waist. strike gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Reed content to stall in guard here. strike looking to sweep here. No luck so far. strike is striking from the bottom but Reed uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. strike throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reed fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Reed must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. strike looking to hit a scissor sweep but Reed is one step ahead there. Reed is pushing down on strike's leg trying to pass to half guard. strike is fighting to maintain full guard but Reed has managed to sneak the leg through. strike punching from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. strike slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Reed wants to control from the top but strike keeps moving. Reed trying to stand up but can't free himself from strike's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. strike trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. strike looking for a guillotine here but Reed defends easily.

We're back to striking at a distance. strike keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. strike feints and as Reed raises his hands in defense, strike changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. strike throwing strikes from guard but Reed blocks nicely. Reed shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has strike pinned against the cage. strike gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Horrible takedown by strike or perhaps it was just good defense by Reed which made him look bad. strike looks to clinch and Reed decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. Reed escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. strike takes a shot right to the bread basket. strike blocks a head kick by Reed.

Reed gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. mark strike has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! strike is looking to stand up but Reed isn't so interested in that idea. strike throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Reed has been the more effective fighter overall so far. strike throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Reed gets to his feet. strike looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Reed is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down strike rather than just go for the knockout. strike looks to clinch and Reed counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Reed throws a head kick that misses. strike shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. strike decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. strike misses with a body shot.
Reed pushes strike up against the cage in a clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. strike tries to pull guard but Reed holds him up against the cage and eventually strike drops back down to his feet.

Mike Reed is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. strike tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Reed comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Reed has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batista scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bronson doesn't seem bothered though. Batista dives in and grabs Bronson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bronson pushes down on Batista's head and hops out. Bronson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Batista uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bronson. Bronson misses with a straight left. Bronson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bronson misses the body punch letting Batista counter with a right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters circling - Bronson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Batista moves in looking to clinch but Bronson pushes him off. Bronson misses with a wild body shot. Bronson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Batista tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bronson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Charlie Bronson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Batista lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bronson circles away quickly and effectively. Bronson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Batista closes the distance and clinches up with Bronson, looking for a takedown. Batista pushes Bronson against the cage but Bronson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bronson swats away the attempt to clinch by Batista. A combination from Bronson does no damage.

Batista is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bronson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Batista. Batista looks gassed! Batista tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bronson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Batista somewhat. Batista shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bronson defends it nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bronson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Batista shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bronson as he avoids it easily. Batista shoots in for a double leg but Bronson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Batista moves out of range of the strikes. Batista clinches but Bronson breaks the clinch and Bronson counters with a crisp one two that drops Batista! Bronson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Batista to his feet! Batista is in big trouble! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Batista walks straight into a right hand from Bronson - that's dropped him! Bronson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Batista from any more punishment! Batista complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Kelly works his foot free and advances to mount. cook is looking to improve his position but Kelly isn't that keen on the idea. Kelly is working for a guillotine from mount but cook frees his head quite easily.
Kelly working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. cook turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Kelly off and cradles cook's limp body as Kelly celebrates with his corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Isom dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Isom tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Matt Isom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Isom shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smith defends it nicely. Isom scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Smith moves into the clinch. Isom has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Smith uses from the top position. Smith is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Isom is trying to control the position but Smith postures up. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Smith's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Smith throwing strikes from guard but Isom blocks nicely. Smith has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Smith throws a big right hand that misses. Smith postures up in Isom's guard and throws a big left but Isom blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Isom is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Payne bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You can see the frustration on Manpoof's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Payne looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Manpoof is avoiding damage well.
