The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Twist stuffs the takedown attempt from Knight. Knight gets slowly back to his feet. Twist is breathing heavily. Nice takedown defense from Twist. No joy for Knight on that attempt. Knight uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Twist.
Knight fails with a takedown attempt. Tony Twist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alister Knight. Twist throws a body punch but Knight moves out of range. Knight closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Knight lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Niemi lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Niemi passes the guard and advances to mount! Niemi postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Negao badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Niemi around the waist but Niemi pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Niemi is the winner by TKO! Niemi jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
