The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Lincoln tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range. Jack Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lincoln swats away the attempt to clinch by Jackson. Jackson closes the distance but Lincoln moves to the side and Lincoln counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jackson! Lincoln can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jackson is looking to escape. Lincoln wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Lincoln takes Jackson's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Jackson is in trouble. Lincoln is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Lincoln is working for a rear naked choke. Jackson is not defending it well and Lincoln has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Jackson refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Jackson's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Denham.
James throws a right hand that Denham ducks under and follows up with a left that Denham also avoids with ease. Denham is looking to land body kicks. James lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Denham throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and James counters with a stiff right hand. James throws a body punch but Denham moves out of range. Denham misses with a double jab
and James counters with a head kick. That will keep Denham thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. James scores with a sloppy right hand. Denham should have avoided that one. James looks to land a combination but Denham avoids it well. Denham throws a sloppy body shot
and James counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. James lands a two punch combo.

and James counters with a one-two to the body. James throws a leg kick which misses Denham's front leg but catches the back leg as Denham tries to avoid it. Denham with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling James to score with a decent uppercut. James plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! James might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Denham takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Denham is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. James is keen to just control but Denham is a slippery customer. Nice strikes from James there. James wants to take a breather but Denham is having none of it.

James seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. James has been the more effective fighter overall so far. James trying to control from half guard but Denham is working away. James not landing any meaningful shots this time. James content to control rather than advance.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Denham wants to get back to full guard. James is looking to take a break and control but Denham is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. James is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

James circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Denham to the canvas! Denham doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - James keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Textmark looks to land a right hand but McGraw moved out of range. Textmark throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McGraw was covering up waiting for the punch and Textmark finishes the takedown easily into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Textmark accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Textmark wants to pass the guard but McGraw is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Textmark drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Textmark jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Textmark working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Textmark working some strikes from top position. Textmark drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McGraw manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Textmark has McGraw in his guard. McGraw wants to stand but Textmark has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Mondogo has momentary wrist control but Rajala slips an elbow through the middle. Rajala postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Rajala stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mondogo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rajala lands a couple of decent looking shots. Tomi Rajala is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mondogo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pozsgai defends well against a solid takedown attempt from MacGregor. Rob MacGregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pozsgai avoids a lazy jab quite easily. MacGregor fails with the takedown. Pozsgai lands a straight punch to the body, keeping MacGregor at a distance.
MacGregor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pozsgai's waist but Pozsgai gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing MacGregor off to one side. Stefan Pozsgai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob MacGregor. MacGregor will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mann avoids a punch combination nicely.

Opas takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Mann takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Opas missing with a left hand there. Mann was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A decent looking body kick lands there for Opas. Mann sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Opas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mann was well out of range. Poor timing from Opas. Danga de danga de dang - Opas scores with a four punch combination! Don Opas is winning the standup battle so far. Mann misses with an uppercut. Opas saw that one coming. Opas scoring well with a low kick there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Vihervaara. Vihervaara stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vihervaara wants it to stay on the feet. Vihervaara throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

It looks like Jarpi Johnson has been cut. Vihervaara throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Vihervaara, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Vihervaara against the cage but Vihervaara circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Johnson takes one on the chin but seems OK.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gomi drives through with a takedown into guard. Gomi stops Szyslak from standing up. Gomi passes Szyslak's left leg - he's now in half guard. Szyslak keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Gomi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Gomi trying to mount his opponent but Szyslak defends it. Szyslak pushes Gomi off but Gomi dives into side control.
You can see the frustration on Szyslak's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Gomi. Gomi controls the position from side control. Gomi is looking to take a break and control but Szyslak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gomi is trying to ground and pound but Szyslak uses the momentary lack of control by Gomi to regain half guard. Szyslak regains full guard. Nicely done. Gomi with a flurry of punches that miss. Gomi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Szyslak works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gomi looking to pass the guard. Gomi being controlled here momentarily.

The fighters roll with the hold and Szyslak manages to kick Gomi off! Gomi jumps back into Szyslak's guard. Gomi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Szyslak wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Gomi is now in half guard. Szyslak is trying to escape back to his feet but Gomi uses the scramble to pass into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Szyslak prevents Gomi from improving position. Gomi tries to score with some ground and pound. Szyslak controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Szyslak parries the strikes from Gomi easily there. Gomi is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Szyslak to escape.

Szyslak will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
