Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peligroso Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Riviera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riviera has chosen Dirty hous' - Rohff as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Riviera is putting a hurting on Sanchez here, landing some big shots from side control. Sanchez is looking to reverse the position. Riviera remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Sanchez wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A close second round but Cain Riviera will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Sanchez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Peligroso Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Riviera throws a right hand that Sanchez ducks under and follows up with a left that Sanchez also avoids with ease. Sanchez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Riviera is looking to chop away at Sanchez's legs. Sanchez closes the distance but Riviera moves to the side
and Riviera counters into the clinch. Nicely done. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head punch blocked on the inside by Sanchez. Sanchez lands a knee to the body.

Sanchez has instead reached around Riviera's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sanchez arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

McCann lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Nice straight punches there by Krystov. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Krystov. McCann dodges the punch combination from Krystov.
Krystov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Krystov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Alexander Krystov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
McCann keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. McCann stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McCann wants it to stay on the feet. McCann displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Krystov has his takedown stuffed and McCann counters with a nice body shot. Tony McCann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Krystov. McCann fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Krystov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. McCann swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Krystov counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McCann's guard now. This has been an exciting period of action! Krystov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Krystov trying to control but McCann is working from the bottom. Krystov throws a strike but McCann rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Both fighters are breathing heavily. McCann wants to control from the top but Krystov keeps moving.

A combination from McCann does no damage. Alexander Krystov is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. McCann scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Krystov walks into a stiff left hand from McCann. McCann misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Krystov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McCann as he avoids it easily. Krystov has a takedown stuffed. McCann lands a body shot.

Tony McCann is winning the standup battle so far. McCann swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And that's the end of the fight! Tony McCann showed his dominance in that final round. I think Krystov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Geraths shoots for a takedown but Evans saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Geraths looks to land a combination but Evans avoids it well. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Geraths is defended easily by Evans. Chuck Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nikolai Geraths. A big right from Evans misses. Geraths throws a right hand that Evans ducks under and follows up with a left that Evans also avoids with ease. Evans connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Geraths shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Evans as he jumps to the side. Evans throws a hook to the side of Geraths's head but Geraths sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice takedown defense from Evans. No joy for Geraths on that attempt. Geraths rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Evans moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Evans swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Evans misses with a body shot.

Geraths will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Evans lands a nice leg kick that just misses Geraths's sensitive parts. Geraths tries for a takedown but Evans sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Geraths looks gassed! Geraths throws a jab when Evans was well out of range. Nikolai Geraths seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Geraths gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Evans throws a right hand that Geraths ducks under and follows up with a left that Geraths also avoids with ease. Evans is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Geraths. Evans throws out a loose jab but Geraths uses good head movement to avoid it. Geraths moves out of range as Evans strikes. Evans lands with a hook. Geraths tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Geraths defending well as Evans loads up on a big left hand. Evans's corner calls for a 1-2. Evans obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Geraths ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Evans is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Evans bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Evans lands a jab. Evans lands a jab to Geraths's midsection.

Evans scores with a jab to the body. Evans lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Evans. Evans throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Geraths sees it coming and avoids it easily. Geraths takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Evans throws an overhand right that lands on Geraths's shoulder, as Geraths tries to avoid the shot. Chuck Evans is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Geraths on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Geraths takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Evans lunges at Geraths with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Geraths's hand. Decent striking displayed by Evans there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Evans loads up on a big right hand but Geraths slips the punch. Geraths takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Nikolai Geraths has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chuck Evans is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Evans lands with a kick to the temple. Geraths shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Karelin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams controlling the position for now. Williams is trying to stand.
Williams is refusing to be controlled, as Karelin sits in half guard. Karelin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Williams is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Williams manages to get to full guard.
