Elastinen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Cascada - Dangerous. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mickey Love! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Love. No joy for Elastinen on that attempt. Elastinen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Love avoids it really well and circles away. Horrible takedown by Elastinen or perhaps it was just good defense by Love which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erkki Elastinen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Elastinen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Love sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Elastinen shoots in looking for a takedown. Love tries to sprawl out of it but Elastinen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Love manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Elastinen dives in and grabs Love's left leg, looking for a takedown. Love pushes down on Elastinen's head and hops out. Elastinen misses with a takedown attempt - Love sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Love displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Elastinen. Love keeps the fight on the outside. Elastinen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Love swivels and escapes. Elastinen fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Love is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Elastinen is breathing heavily.

Love turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Love manages to end up in side control. Love remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Elastinen is not content to let Love control the position. Love slows the pace down. Love trying to control the position but Elastinen is working away. Elastinen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Elastinen tries to get out of the position. Love is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Elastinen seems a little lost for a moment, as Love dominates the positioning.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mickey Love just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Elastinen shoots in but no luck this time. Elastinen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Elastinen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Love defends it nicely. Love tries to close the distance and clinch but Elastinen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Love closes the distance and pushes Elastinen back into the cage. Elastinen is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Love prevents a takedown attempt there.
Elastinen has Love pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Elastinen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Love tumbling to the mat - Elastinen dives into Love's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Love is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Elastinen wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Love wants to lay and pray for a moment but Elastinen keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Elastinen is looking to improve his position.

The fighters are battling for position here. Elastinen manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Love looking to pass the guard. Love really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Elastinen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Elastinen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Love tries to free his leg and advance position but Elastinen is retaining full guard. Love must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Love is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Elastinen working a defensive guard here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Elastinen tries for a takedown but Love circles away easily and Love counters with a nice double leg into side control. Elastinen won't be happy with that. Love wants to lay and pray for a moment but Elastinen keeps working. Mickey Love has got the better of the ground game so far. Elastinen is trying to get back to half guard. You can see the frustration on Elastinen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Elastinen is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Mickey Love comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Love has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Black misses. Korpisuo drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Black is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Korpisuo asserts his dominance and retains side control. Korpisuo wants to control but Black is keeping him busy. Black pushes Korpisuo away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Korpisuo gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Korpisuo has an Americana. Black didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Korpisuo is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Korpisuo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Harri Mulqvist! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kari Tapio! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mulqvist keeps Tapio at a distance using the push kick. Mulqvist lands a jab to Tapio's midsection. Mulqvist ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Tapio looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mulqvist drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mulqvist wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tapio, who protects the arm well. Mulqvist is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tapio knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Mulqvist feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mulqvist passes Tapio's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Mulqvist stops Tapio from getting back to his feet.

Tapio looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tapio looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tapio! Tapio decides to take the fight back to the feet. Tapio bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Tapio misses with a double jab

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mulqvist throws a strike but Tapio rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Mulqvist wants to sweep here but Tapio controlling him for the moment. Tapio has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mulqvist is proving hard to escape from. Mulqvist is working an open guard so Tapio takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Mulqvist throws a wild body kick that Tapio sees coming a mile off.
