Parise scores with a one two! Hassan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Parise scores with a nice head shot. Parise scores with a jab to the head.
Parise lands with a hook. Hassan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Parise thuds a left hand into Hassan's body. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Smithers manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Smithers keeping full guard, as Scott tries to pass. Smithers is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Smithers is looking for a triangle but Scott pushes his legs off easily.
Scott controlling from the top position. Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smithers swivels though and keeps the full guard. Scott postures up in Smithers's guard and throws a big left but Smithers blocks it.

Bridge tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A leg kick checked by Bridge. Bridge throws a right hand that Rice ducks under and follows up with a left that Rice also avoids with ease. Rice throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bridge counters with a low kick, right behind Rice 's knee. Rice throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bridge sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bridge misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bridge digs a good body shot into Rice's ribs. Bridge displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rice throws out the jab. Rice swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bridge counters with an outside leg kick.

and Bridge counters with a slapping leg kick. Bridge stalks Rice and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rice's face. Rice staggers backwards, shaken. Rice misses with a leg kick and Bridge counters with a leg kick. Bridge throws a head kick that half lands.
Rice throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bridge ducks under a wild hook from Rice. Rice on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bridge. Bridge obviously looking to wear him down.

Bridge throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rice pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Rice misses with the body kick enabling Bridge to counter with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bridge staying out of range there. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rice crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bridge - the referee stops the clock and Rice gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bridge. Rice manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Rice misses the body punch and Bridge counters with a straight right hand. Rice falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bridge counters with a left and a right that stings Rice. Rice looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Bridge changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Rice swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bridge counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Bridge lands a jab-cross combination. Bridge dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rice. That did some damage! Left hook, right uppercut from Bridge. Bridge lands with a nice combination. Rice backs away looking to recover.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
