The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sparrow gets a takedown into half guard. Gee looking for submissions off his back. Sparrow thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gee's head. Sparrow thows a huge punch but Gee dodges it nicely.
Gee has one foot on Sparrow's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Sparrow shoots in for a double leg but Gee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Gee moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Jason Sparrow has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gee throws a nice looking combination but Sparrow bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A jab lands there for Gee. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sparrow. Gee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belden lands a glancing blow to the side of Vaulen's head. Vaulen tries to clinch but Belden moves out of range. Belden thuds a left hand into Vaulen's body. Vaulen looks to land a combination but Belden avoids it well. Vaulen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vaulen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Belden. Belden misses with a wild body shot. Belden just misses with a punch to the body.
Belden will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Vaulen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Belden tumbling to the mat - Vaulen dives into Belden's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Belden lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Vaulen! Belden wants to get back to his feet but Vaulen is holding on tight.
Belden stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Vaulen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Belden with a jab. Turkish Belden is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Turkish Belden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vaulen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Belden. Vaulen slips under a jab from Belden. Vaulen is looking to clinch but Belden is avoiding it.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Sutton defending well as Baker loads up on a big left hand. Baker closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Baker lands in his opponent's guard. Sutton keeping moving, preventing Baker from controlling successfully. Sutton has his feet on Baker's thighs here. He's pushed Baker off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Baker screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Outbackerson scoring with some ground and pound. Outbackerson with a flurry of punches that miss. Outbackerson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Thomas keeping moving, preventing Outbackerson from controlling successfully. Outbackerson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Thomas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Outbackerson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Thomas napping and manages to drive through into side control! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Outbackerson working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Outbackerson lands a few punches from side control. Outbackerson is looking to take a break and control but Thomas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dallas Thomas will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Thomas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Outbackerson. Nice takedown defense from Thomas. No joy for Outbackerson on that attempt. Dallas Thomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Outbackerson. Outbackerson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Thomas misses with a looping left. Dallas Thomas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Outbackerson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Thomas's half guard. Outbackerson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Thomas with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Outbackerson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Thomas sees it coming and defends easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Outbackerson throwing shots but Thomas is blocking nicely.

Thomas is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Dallas Thomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Outbackerson. Outbackerson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Thomas can't fight it off and eventually Outbackerson manages to take the fight to the floor. Thomas looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Outbackerson postures up in Thomas's guard and throws a big left but Thomas blocks it.

Outbackerson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Outbackerson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Thomas manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Outbackerson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Outbackerson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Outbackerson won't allow Thomas to sweep him here. Outbackerson looking to pass the guard. Mick Outbackerson has got the better of the ground game so far. Outbackerson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Thomas's head. Outbackerson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thomas swivels though and keeps the full guard. Outbackerson trying to control but Thomas is working from the bottom. Thomas avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Outbackerson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Thomas lands a two punch combo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Outbackerson closes the distance and clinches up with Thomas, looking for a takedown. Outbackerson pushes Thomas against the cage but Thomas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Outbackerson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Outbackerson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Outbackerson has control of Thomas's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Thomas regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Outbackerson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Thomas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Outbackerson is one step ahead there. Outbackerson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Outbackerson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Thomas takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Thomas wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. You can see the frustration on Thomas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Outbackerson working the ground and pound.

Man dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Huhtis. That did some damage! Huhtis is breathing heavily. Man tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Man swings for the body but Huhtis moves out of range.
Huhtis takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Man misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jones lands a high kick to the side of Dryupp's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Jones dives into guard, looking to finish.
Dryupp is rocked! Dryupp is working an open guard so Jones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Oh Dryupp is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A combination from Jones does no damage. Nice defenses there by Dryupp. Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dryupp moves away. Dryupp seems to have got his legs back now. A big right followed by a crushing left from Jones knocks Dryupp out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Jackson Faber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Whizzer Oz. A good leg kick by Faber. Faber feints and then cracks Oz's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Oz down. Faber lands with a thumping leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Faber throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Faber feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Oz's calf. Faber with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Faber gets in close and instigates a clinch. Faber lands a knee to the body.
Faber crunches a lovely knee into Oz's ribcage. Faber digs a right hand underneath Oz's ribcage. Oz let out a lung full of air as it connected. Faber blocking some punches.

Oz shoots in looking for a takedown. Faber tries to sprawl out of it but Oz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Faber manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Oz throws a left and a right that both miss
and Faber counters with an inside leg kick. Faber throws a shot to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Oz doesn't succeed with the takedown and Faber makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Oz circles away from the clinch attempt.

Jackson Faber is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Oz has his takedown stuffed and Faber counters with a thumping low kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Faber.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Oz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Faber moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Oz has a takedown stuffed. Faber throws a nice inside leg kick. Whizzer Oz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! No joy there for Faber, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Oz has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. A decent looking cross lands there for Faber. A cross from Oz lands. Good leg kick by Faber there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Faber scores with a kick to the midsection. Faber throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Oz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Faber sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Oz somewhat. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Oz takes one to the chin there.
And that's the end of the fight! Jackson Faber showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Faber, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
